[Farzin Vousoughin] The Chiefs have spent more money on the offensive line by a wide margin for the 2025 season. The gap between KC and Denver is $11.8 million.

  1. That’s with 2 guys on rookie contracts too, we need to get rid of Taylor and his shitty contact asap

  2. We paid starter money for Moore, who is currently a backup so this makes sense. And I’m not criticizing as we had no idea if Simmons would fall to us. If he hadn’t we would be up shit creek without Moore.

  3. Jawaan Taylor is nearly 30% of that lol. I’m not even a massive Jawaan hater, but it’s obvious that contract is hamstringing us and he’s not playing close to a level of what he’s making. Cap hit is $27.3 mil this year. If Kelce hangs it up after this year, you’re talking $36.5 mil back on the books for 2027 between the two of them

  4. I really hope they start running some more direct/power runs instead of hoping Kareem can beat a middle age tortoise to the edge or hoping that Pacheco starts opening his eyes and running with a little more patience.

With the individual quality that the Chiefs have on the line, you’d think they’d be able to scheme some things and handle some things a lot better.

Or maybe the blocking scheme is stale and old and everyone has a beat on what they’re trying to do.

  5. Highest paid center and highest paid guard in the league along with a shitty contract for Taylor and a backup being paid like a mid-level starter. It’s overcompensating for the dibacle last year but it seems like it might pay off with Simmons looking like he might be legit.

  6. Not surprised.. Patrick is hard to protect. Plus Taylor needs to be released but I don’t see a better option coming up

  7. We can criticize performance, outcomes, etc. But the big takeaway for me is that the Chiefs priorities are very much in the right place. Ask Cinci or Luck-era Indy how much they’d like to see this…

  8. Steelers pay the most money for their defense, they spent 2 weeks showing you why

no amount of money ever produced a single ounce of character
