The Rams have a Seat at the Table 🪑

We did an exercise this off season where we called it a seat at the table. We picked 10 teams that we thought were definitive Super Bowl contenders heading into the year and we had to leave some teams off that were probably right on the edge and the Rams were one of those teams. I’m interested because I think they’re playing as well as any team in the league right now. Stafford is healthy, but the thing that held me back with the Rams was I’m worried about Stafford holding up over 17 weeks. So, it’s been two. It looks freaking awesome. It looks like everything we hoped it would be. Is it too early to just assume that that’s not going to be an issue for the next 15 weeks? That’s my only pause. I’m raising my hand. After re-watching the way that Matthew Stafford, Puka Naku, and Devonte Adams played against the Titans, seeing some of the flashes from the Rams defense. Are we putting the Rams at the table and taking the Bengals out? You were in pain over there. It feels early, but I think the Rams look good enough that I’m fine with it, even though I’m I’m in pain.
