Waited too long and they were sold out of my size online. Had to get it at the Padres team store. They got plenty of them there but paying sixty bucks for one was a little painful.
Been worried about cleaning my old cap too vigorously and destroying it. Now that I have a replacement I'll throw it in the dishwasher or something.

I hope next year they go for a brown cap with a white front. Something like the baseballism Tony Gwynn hat. Or the Rockies first city connect hat.

That hat weathered beautifully. Do not throw that away.
Why, replace?
That is now a yard work, gym, beach, out doors hat you have. Don’t toss it.
Most other fan bases wear their hats until they fall apart, smh
Sorry for the confusion, I’m not getting rid of the old hat. It’s been through many pitched battles on little league fields, etc with me and I love it. Just want something fresher and less lived-in looking while I can still get it.
This is what I want to.
take that hat to Tijuana and they’ll make it look like new
Put the old one in a bucket of warm water with oxi clean for a few hours, then let it air dry. dirt and stains will be gone
I love that hat. I need to buy another for a backup!
