Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 19, 2025 MLB Season

And a big big series for the Socks. And the first one chopped up the middle by Durant. It gets to Williams at short. One pitch, one out. Tigers really slumping right now. And the 02. And that’s going to be in there for strike three. Bottom looking. Two up. Two down. Rasmus does two and two and a chopper over the first baseman’s head. That’s a fair ball down the line. Redmond racing into third. Masataka into second. He’ll stop there. Red Sox trying to get it done with two out. Cash in. One, two. Little tapper to the right side. Palasios will get him at first base and the Red Sox miss a chance there. to the Strand Runners at second and third in the first inning. Using that outside part of the plate a lot more. Wide shot and a hit into left field. Durant has to chase it up against the fence. Yandi Diaz trots into second base. The veteran continues to absolutely mash. He came in at 297. Brings up Nick Cortez. He’s the catcher hitting just 222. Ground ball up the middle. Threw for a base hit. Diaz rounding. Here he comes. Throw into third as the run scores and safe for third on what they’re going to do, but I expect he’s not flying to Tampa to just continue to work out right. That’s certainly a big one. And a backhander here by Seymour. Foot race, but that’s going to be with a 3-2 runner taken off and a line drive and a base hit. That’ll follow right center field. Eaton racing. They’re going to wave him. Here he comes. throw to the plate. The tag, he’s safe. Didn’t land a glove on it. Pitches that he smoked in the first half. Two-2. Ground ball to the right side. Palasios bobbles it. He lunges. He does get the force out there, but that’s all they get lately. They’re 10 and four in their last 14 road games. Runner taken off. Ground ball hammered to first. Seymour with a backhand to retie the side, but the Red Sox do draw even. A one-1 game in the middle. top 10 prospect in baseball. Going to see some of their best guys from the miners swinging a highf fly ball to right. Eaton up against the wall leaping up as he tried to take that one down but that is a home run. And he’ll knock that one to the right side. Coralled by Palasio. He’ll spin throw and he will get it. A really fine play by the second baseman. One out. goes through checkpoints. Swinging a shot. That one driven deep to left field. Sailing into the corner and that ball’s out here. Home run. Alex Bregman. His 18th. Socks tie it again. 2-2. Two-2. Hammered to short. Williams misplays it off and rolls into left. And the Red Sox still alive in the inning. Hits the ball hard. Harder than anybody this year. There’s a high drive into right field. Eaton’s backing up, turning around. There’s another one. That’s gone. With a home run ball continues to bite Crochet. He drove in Diaz in the first inning. Founder up the middle. The flip to Story. He’ll cross the bag and another play. Red Sox turn two. A home run by Yandi Diaz. Makes it 32 Tampa Bay. Nothing early too. Liner and a fair ball down the right field line. He guides that one for the corner. That’ll bounce around for maybe nothing to show for but a few cues you like on the infield behind the bag. Williams reaching for that. He’ll flip on to get him. So nothing comes of the walk and midway through it’s 3-2 Tampa Bay. Swing and a miss. He got him. Struck him out. So that’s nine for Crochet. But he really had to battle there a couple of times in that inning. And it remains 3-2 Tampa Bay. Fly that to right. Feel fairly well hit but low is there to make the play. Red Sox are going to go on order in the sixth inning. Has looked better at the plate. The O2. That’s a bullet into left field. Down for a base hit. St. John’s had a couple of nice cuts tonight. Ra third on the cut of the grass and leaning in. Swinging a high fly ball right field deep. This is carrying. Oh man, is it ever. It’s out of here. A two-run bomb by Jared Durant. Two from the southpaw. Chopped on the infield for Williams. The first out that Bregman’s made tonight. Two walks and a home run before that. Two down and a high fly center field for Perea. He’ll get underneath and make the catch. It’s off of the Red Sox, but they flying toward the alley and is going to drop down for a base hit. It gets by Low all the way up against the fence. Romy will trot to second base. He’s there standing up for the double and a chopper up the middle that’s going to kick into center field for a base hit. Gonzalez round will score easily. The Red Sox had a giant run. I’m just going to keep calling for bunts. I am. I’m just going to keep calling for bunts. I want everybody to bunt over me. On it goes. Pitch a strike. Here’s the throw down. The tag. He is safe. He averted the tag and a one- nothing and a base hit into right field. He to third going to wave him home. He’s going to score without a throw. The Red Sox on the board again. Third hit tonight for Son Raphaela. Red Sox on top six to three. And the simple one to right field. And he’ll swing and drive that one into center field. Coming on to center field. It’s going to drop in for a base hit. They’re going to hold the runner at third low as the throw comes in and a bounding ball up the middle. Knocked down by Palasios and he has no play as another run scores. Seven to three Boston with the bases jammed in his career. 3-1 and that’s going to be ball four. Bring another run in. Son will score and the Socks getting very comfortable in the eighth inning. They now lead it. Not just in there. Romy will slap that one behind the bag. A long throw for Bray. He skips it and another one scores. And right behind Trevor Story, he will score as well. Masataka takes a wide turn around. Thurman goes back. first and third. 3-2 again and it knocks him down again as he walks him and the bases are loaded again. So ahead 103 and all the way to the back stop play at the plate and Moss is in to score. Think you hit him. It did hit him. Huge one by Jiren Durant in the seventh. Breman hit one earlier tonight too and a ladder on one hop. Palasios will go to first and that inning is done. The Red Sox explode. They lead it 11-3 in the middle of the eighth inning at Steinbrerfield. Lunging pop into right for Eaton. Long way out to make the play. Romy became a fourth outfielder. Makes the catch. One down. Son Raphaela. Three hits. make it four as he rifles that one into center field. Four consecutive hits. He’s gone four for five with eight more left after this one. Swinging a mile high fly, but not terribly deep coming in. Pere the center fielder to make the catch. The runner at first swung out to drive out to right field. Low makes the catch right on top of the warning track. to retire the side. Middle of the ninth, Red Sox 11, Tampa Bay three. Andy Diaz hit a home run as well. Soar tested right away and will throw him out. One away in the bottom of the ninth. Always finds you. And Tampa and up high for ball force. He’s lost the plate a little bit, which he will do occasionally. That’ll put runners at first and second. And Murphy looking ended. Hammered a base hit into right field. Gray hit third. He’ll stop there as the throw is hustled in. Swinging a high drive deep to left field. That’s way way back and that is gone. A grand slam off of Murphy. [Applause] Pitches and hit corners. He just tries to throw strikes. Chopped to the middle and that’s going to kick off into center field for a hit. Magnum the batter with a runner at first and a base hit in center field. That’s their sixth base runner off the lefthander and Chapman just got up and two swing and a miss. Finally, it’s over. The Red Sox win it 117 the final.

  1. Is there still no set return date for Tampa Bay Rays' Manuel Rodriguez? He's scheduled to compete in the WBC, but will he be ready in time?

  2. Dude, what a mess lol

Why does it feel like the Red Sox are always playing from behind early on? If it wasn’t for that disastrous inning for TB, we might’ve been in trouble here. Aye aye aye
