The Angels have had their leadoff hitter report. Now in three straight innings, double play balls kind of cut short would be rallies in the 3rd and 4th and here’s, Teodosio has sped up the middle and threw a base hit Guzman’s headed for third. The throw there is too late that allows Teodosio to get to second. That’s two impressive baserunning efforts by the youngsters, aggressive baserunning. That is man, he’s looking, he is looking Brent Doyle right in the eye saying I’m going to get there and Doyle is one of the better defensive center fielders in the sport. And sio sees that throw and he gets into scoring position that’s out to right and it’s going to drop in and get past freeman that will score both runs. The Angels go back out in top 53 halos with runners in scoring position again, another opportunity for mike Trout against Bradley Blalock and mike has flied to the wall and struck out tonight swinging to drive out to center field Doyle setting up shy of the track once again to make the catch, it will tag and advance a couple of loud long flyball to center for Trout tonight doc on it. Tyler freeman scores the Rockets fourth run swing and a line drive face it into center field. Moniak scores the ball misplayed by Teodosio and Doyle gets into second as Goodman scores to tie the game chase. Silf will enter to try to calm things down here in the last of the fifth Brent Doyle going on the first pitch and he’s in there safely at third, his 17th stolen base in 19 tries. The Angels are down to their final try now and it’s going to be a pinch hitter tying run on base with two out and Luis Rengifo will try to keep hope alive here for the Angels and he swings and misses on a high fastball and Victor slams the door. That’s the game. The Rockies on fireworks night have some fireworks for sure. They end a five game skid and beat the Angels 7 to 6.
