Because they’re basically in F it mode collecting their checks til the season ends in about two weeks . MLB should let them finish the season playing the Savannah bananas at least the games would be entertaining

The Angels are 28th in team E.R.A. They are 29th in team batting average. They have 34 blown saves. They have a save percentage of 51.5% and they will more than likely break the record for strikeouts in a season. They are currently on an eight game losing streak. Maybe the worst team in the franchise’s history.
Tuned out after the Schaunuel double thinking it wasn’t going to be competitive. A cake walk. Game over. Rockies are an embarrassment. Can’t even watch the game because it didn’t seem fair. Those were my literal thoughts.

Not that we don’t suck, because we def do, but this is baseball. The horrifically bad Rockies still win 27% of the time, even against good teams sometimes.

They’re already on vacation mode. Let’s enjoy these last couple of games. It will be a long time until we hear “Calling All Angels.” I know we suck but let’s show the guys that we’re there for them this last home series.
At this point Trout checked out. Hop is playing better defense, Adell could hit a few more HR’s, Ward is still playing hard, and I like watching Guzman…but the entire pitching staff outside of the new free-agent we sign in the offseason needs another upgrade. Soriano is a good solid 2, but we still really good 1 that will give us 200+ k’s and maybe a CG or two. I think the angels might be one of the only teams to not get a CG out of starter this year. Build off Neto, Moore, Adell, and we need to get some power at the corner infield spots.
Lord Dinger must be appeased…
Teams lost to the Rockies 41 times this year before tonight. It happens. Getting swept by the Rockies will be the disgrace.
