The season is almost over…but as we wrap up, a few players are trying to set up their spots for the 2026 season.  Wade Meckler, who will not be out of options in 2026, is on a bit of a run, where he has four straight multi-hit games.  Meanwhile Marco Luciano was breaking an eight-game hitless streak with his own two hits.

  1. Wait Meckler will not be out of options? Is that a typo or is it correct to say he doesn’t have to make the team out of ST and we don’t have to DFA him? I thought he was in fact out of options in 26.
