The Tigers are now 5-12 in September. The only teams with worse records this month are Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Colorado.

  1. I’m starting to worry that the Tigers are not gonna make the playoffs. At this point, they don’t deserve to be.

  2. The no passion moderators of motor city kitties state the obvious again. What pearls of wisdom would you like to lay like a turd for us devastated fans to ingest for tomorrow’s game?

  3. Does anyone believe this team can stave off the Guardians and Red Sox??

    Didn’t think so

  4. I’ve not been on the fire Hinch bandwagon but this is beyond anything I expected. We are reaching historical collapse territory. Someone has to be held accountable.

  5. Definitely was wrong. The doomers were right. I thought they’d will themselves to the finish line but it looks like we’re going to witness an epic collapse. Fuckin sucks.

  6. the exact opposite record you want in september heading into the playoffs (not that we’ll even make it)

  7. Had to start Charlie Morton and Keider Montero in back to back games. The back end of the bullpen is just not good. We are rolling out Wenceel Perez as our number 3 hitter. Aside from our rookie catcher we do not have a regular batter hitting above .260. This is not AJ Hinch. This is bad roster construction and limited major league ready depth from the minors. It will get better soon but this season is a write off.

  8. Zero small ball on this team. If we don’t hit 4+ homers, this team can’t seem to win and it’s a huge problem.

  9. I’m not a doom and gloomer, but it is obvious that whatever this team had during the early part of the season they have lost. I’m hopeful they can still get into the playoffs.
