Indianapolis Colts Get HUGE Boost: Tyler Warren, Charvarius Ward, Laiatu Latu Cleared
What’s up everybody? The Colts getting a huge boost a day ahead of their first road tilt. The first AFC South matchup of the season as the Colts go to Nissan Stadium to take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Tyler Warren and Charvarius Ward have both been cleared from the injury report. And that’s a day after Liatu Latu was removed from the injury report. So, the Colts will have Tyler Warren on offense just like they have the last uh two weeks. But at the same time, he was limited throughout the week of practice with a toe injury. And then on defense, you’re getting your top pass rusher back, you’re getting your top corner back back as well. Uh so this is just huge news as far as Tyler Warren goes. Uh he’s been just the biggest X factor in the Colts offense. You got Jonathan Taylor running it on the ground and then Tyler Warren be being used in a multitude of ways. Uh so Shane Stiken will still be able to do that. And then defensively, he got Latu Latu back against the team that’s allowing the most sacks in the league. Six sacks in one week, five in another uh for 11 on the season against rookie quarterback Cam Ward. So that’s huge for the Colts. They’re going to be very reliant on Lu throughout the season it seems because their pass rush hasn’t been the greatest in the world, but obviously him being in this matchup helps them against Tennessee immensely. And then Ward, that’s that’s arguably the biggest one of all of this, at least on the defensive side of the ball. Uh because we saw last week with Xavon Howard as the top corner. Uh it just did not exactly work out. So you definitely want to see Ward out there covering Calvin Ridley and whoever is going to be, you know, the number one receiver on certain sets throughout the day. Uh so you got Ward back, you got Lu back. Everyone should be in their normal spots where they’re supposed to be uh to kind of make the Colts defense as effective as possible. Uh so I already felt good about this one going in. Obviously the Titans are 0 and2 and the Colts have looked great. Uh but now with the Colts at full strength, let’s go. You know, they they’ve got to win this one again. First road test, first AFC South battle. If they start 3-0 with all three wins against AFC opponents, one of them being in the division, then they’re going to start bolstering an early season playoff resume. already uh at this point in the year. So that’s obviously great news for the Colts. The only thing left to do now is play the game. So we’re going to have way more for you right after the final buzzer hits on Locked on Colts. That’s going to be our Locked on Colts show with myself, Zack Hicks, Derek Schultz, and Alan Pinket. Make sure to check us out.
