Joe Burrow MAJOR Injury Update #nfl #nflnews #shorts
Joe Burrow injury update in the middle of Sunday Night Football and it’s not what you were looking to hear if you are a Bengals fan. It seems like the options outside of surgery are running thin. Let’s go through what we know. If you missed it entirely, Burrow exited in the second quarter of today’s game against the Jags after taking a sack with what is now being described as grade three turf toe and ligament strains in his foot. And that is terrible news for Bengals fans. Those options likely mean he needs surgery and that would cost him 3 months, meaning he’ll miss anywhere from 11 to 12 games. It’s worth keeping in mind this isn’t 100% the case yet, but if it does go down that road, this would be the third season since 2020 that Burrow has missed significant time. He missed time in his rookie year dealing with an ACL and MCL injury. He missed time last season dealing with a wrist injury. And now he will once again miss over half of the season if this is confirmed. So, for the second consecutive season, playoff hopes in Cincinnati will rest on the shoulders of Jake Browning. He played admirably last year in relief of Joe Burrow, though they failed to make the playoffs. But today, he was very up and down. He had three interceptions, ultimately did lead them to a comeback win against the Jags. I think he’s going to need to be much better with a full week of prep for the Vikings.

Kirk Cousins to the rescue 😊
I give up as a bengals fan
Seasons over, Thank you egg shell Joe. I feel bad for him but with that being said, it's gotten old at this point him being sick or hurt every year has gotten old and ran its course
Toe Burrow, most fragile player in the NFL. The Bengals are lifetime losers. I predict Joe comes back and will get injured again next year and he'll finally retire.
Steelers fan here, get well Joe. 🙏
