A New Report Says Michael McLeod Will Be Joining the Carolina Hurricanes This Season

According to a new report, Michael Mloud is set to sign with a new team. Let’s talk about it. I talk hockey every single day, so make sure you foster or miss anything. Dave Pagno put out a report saying that according to his sources, Michael Mloud is set to join the Carolina Hurricanes at some point this season. For those of you who may not have heard, the five players involved in the Hockey Canada trial are not eligible to sign an NHL contract until October 15th, and they’re not eligible to actually play in the league until December 1st. But even though they can’t sign a contract until October 15th, they’re still eligible to talk to teams and try and get a contract in place so they can sign for that date. Pagnota also goes on to mention in his tweet that the Carolina Hurricanes have been recently linked to Carter Hart as well, another player that was involved in that trial. I’ve seen a lot of Carolina Hurricane fans kind of confused online at the whole point of this signing, saying that they basically already have players now on the roster that can slot into that third line center or that fourth line center, and that’s probably where he would be playing on the team anyways. Obviously, take everything with a little bit of a grain of salt because this isn’t 100% confirmed right now. Like I said, the player can’t sign the contract until October 15th, so stuff may change, but as of right now, we don’t know the term. We don’t know the value of the contract or anything like that. Dave Pagno generally has pretty reliable sources whenever it comes to reporting stuff. He has had a few misses in the past, but in general, he is pretty reliable when it comes to that.
