GIANTS POSTCAST: ANOTHER SWEEP ON DECK as the Giants Drop Ninth Game of the Season to Dodgers

The San Francisco Giants have continuously struggled against the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, and fell again today, 7-5, for their ninth loss to the hated rival this season. After a big four-run first inning, the San Francisco Giants’ offense went dormant for the large part of the remaining eight innings while the Los Angeles Dodgers continued to score runs consistently. With the loss, the San Francisco Giants are now 1-7 in their last eight games.

  1. Oh no, oh no… you mean when you round up a bunch of wildly inconsistent swing for the fence's, strikeout 30% of the time, can't hit with RISP players who routinely go into month long slumps the offense is WILDLY INCONSISTENT, oh no, oh no that can't be right. You mean when you dump Tyler Rodgers one of the best and most consistent bullpen arms we've had in years the bullpen becomes less reliable, oh no… You mean when you have a starting rotation filled out by completely untested rookies or cobbled together bullpen games from a WILDLY INCONSISTEN BULLPEN with no closer the mid to late innings after the starter goes out become a complete disaster oh no, no, that can't be right… oh no…

  2. Im a Dodgers fan of 38 years, I obviously don't like SF, but this guy here on LOCKED ON is pretty good. He's entertaining, and way better than LO Dodgers, Padres,. Mets. Respect and appreciate this guy, Gnats fans!
Btw, Dodgers took the all-time win-loss record from the Giants today. We now have one 1 more game against you. So u can tie again tomorrow. Only the Angels n Yanks have a winning record vs the Dodgers. Yes, the Angels! Lol. They swept us twice this year.

  3. Let's face it: the Dodgers have turned the Giants into a small-market club. The only glimmer of hope on the horizon is all these Dodgers stars are getting older, though you know LA intends to replace them with new stars when the time comes. Giants ownership is going to have to dig a lot deeper into their wallets if they want to field a club that is competitive versus LA. If they can't or won't, they should consider selling the club to someone who can afford to compete for talent with LA, the Yankees, and Steve Cohen's Mets. Otherwise we may be looking at another 50-year championship drought. I don't know about you, but I ain't got 50 more years…
