Let's face it: the Dodgers have turned the Giants into a small-market club. The only glimmer of hope on the horizon is all these Dodgers stars are getting older, though you know LA intends to replace them with new stars when the time comes. Giants ownership is going to have to dig a lot deeper into their wallets if they want to field a club that is competitive versus LA. If they can't or won't, they should consider selling the club to someone who can afford to compete for talent with LA, the Yankees, and Steve Cohen's Mets. Otherwise we may be looking at another 50-year championship drought. I don't know about you, but I ain't got 50 more years…
