Your three-run home run in that first inning was career home run number 450 for you. How significant is that number to you? Uh it’s pretty cool. We like round numbers. Um but uh even better helped us win, helped us get uh get ahead early. Hey, you look at that home run and the fact that it was 450. How much had that been on your mind? Was it on your mind at all? Um you know, it’s it’s a good one to get to. Uh but in terms of trying to get it every at bat, not really. um you know they they they come they come whenever they you put a good swing on it. You missed the first part of this season due to injury, but since coming back in 70 games, you have certainly done damage. What do you attribute your consistency at the plate to? Um you know, just uh really not being happy with being out and and emphasizing uh um being effective and and um you know, helping the team win in the little time that I that I have. You mentioned the team win. You guys are now just two games back from the Blue Jays in the division. How badly do you want this East? Yeah, we just got to keep winning every day. Um, you know, not not worry about what they’re doing or anyone else. Just execute every day and um it’ll it’ll pan out for itself. One guy that certainly executed tonight was Carlos Rodon. What stood out to you about the way he was throwing again? Uh throwing that change up. Uh he he’s looking great. Keep uh keeping him um off balance with his heater.
