  1. Jeff Jones: “Marmol said Arenado’s body needed a day off, day after night, and they’re still determining what if anything he might do as part of this game today.”

Pathetic, for what might have been his final game at Busch Stadium as a Cardinal.

  2. Sure. Milwaukee has won 20 more games than we have, but there are still lots of reasons for optimism, like……..

Okay, I’ll get back to you on that.

  3. On the one hand, I don’t like the idea of anyone celebrating clinching our division in our park but us.

On the other, I want them to lose enough to get into the lottery. And I’d love them to take as many from the Cubs as they can.

So I’m not sure if I want a loss or a win here.

  4. Only one more week to deal with this season. The end can’t come soon enough.

As with years past, it will be time to play, “For which team should I root since my team is eliminated?”
