If there is a delay/rescheduling I'm going to be really upset. I'm coming up from Wichita for my Dad's birthday and we're probably not going to be able to make it if they reschedule it, and even a delay would suck because we are trying to get back to Wichita tonight so we can go to school/work tomorrow

  2. FWIW, I don’t think the highest chances of rain are forecasted until later this afternoon and evening, but anything can happen.

    Unfortunately, dealing with delays and rescheduled games are the risk one takes when buying tickets. It sucks, but it is what it is. I would suggest working with your dad to come up with a contingency plan in case it comes to that. I get the need to drive back down to Wichita right after the game, but maybe you can pause before leaving and grab a bite to eat here and check out an indoor attraction here in KC before heading home.

  3. I moved to Phoenix in 2000. Wife and I talked about moving us and the kids to KC this year. We got half our stuff there in November. Had our latest baby in April while we were getting our house ready here in Phoenix. Then she sort of had a panic meltdown about moving away from her family and our kids cousins. So no longer going back to KC. I have extended family there. I was so excited. We get 350 days of sunshine here. Sometimes more. So over it. I want thunderstorms. They are so rare. I’m jealous.

    Thanks for letting me vent. And making me miss thunderstorms. I was hoping to root for our team, from home. But I’ll keep representing blue and red here in AZ

  4. There’s a week left in the season and Toronto likely needs to play this game so they’ll grind through it instead of trying to bring everybody back for a Monday game next week
