  1. It doesn’t get more Cub than clinching a wildcard spot and then immediately getting fucking swept in a four game series.

  2. After clinching the playoffs and popping champagne, this is how you fucking play? What a joke man.

  3. Not gonna blame this team for taking their foot off the gas. Too many injuries to be had when you already have the spot

  4. This shit is not acceptable, point blank period. We couldn’t score 1 run today? Anyone who still thinks this team is going to make noise in the playoffs is delusional.

  5. I’ll wait to see how the series with the Mets plays out, but this weekend didn’t exactly fill us with confidence. Impotent offense.

  6. Shutout twice to this Reds team is truly something special. A sweep nonetheless, we need to wake the fuck up.

  7. This was the biggest punch in the nut series ever. Clinch postseason and immediately showcase we will be out after 2 games at this rate

  8. What a POS offensive showing this series. 7 total runs scored in FOUR games bookended by two 1-0 shutouts. All 6 hits today were singles

  9. I really didnt care all that much about the result of this series going in, but you know, I don’t know that I loved that. And I’m not sure but I think that may have either secured or all but secured the tiebreaker for the padres.

  10. Absolutely fucking pathetic showing. You let a division rival into the playoffs as you get shutout. Have some god damn pride.

  11. Even though they’re in, it just doesnt have the same feel as it did in years past. Like you know they just don’t really have it together

  12. idk what’s more shitty… us getting swept or the brewers clinching the division bc we lost…

  13. How bad the Reds needed this series. Did someone from the Reds pay the Cubs? Sure looked like it.

  14. Definitely a big bummer of a series, but I’m not THAT worried… yet… still have very winnable games at home
