Pittsburgh Pirates Blowout A’s 11-0; Second Straight Shutout!
This Pirates pitching is just incredible. I mean, and it’s going to get overshadowed today because this is an 11 nothing victory, but I’m Gary from Locked On Pirates, and I’m here to tell you the pitching was was the story of this series. I think they finished with 22 straight shutout innings of an A’s team that, yeah, they’re not real high up there in the standings, but they could hit. I think they were third in the league coming into this offensively and you know the Pirates just shut them down. Unbelievable. Mike Burroughs and Carmen Majinski primarily today. Really, really good stuff. And the offense I I’m not going to spend a minute and a half reading off everything that happened, but important players did important things. Uh O’Neal Cruz had a positive day offensively. Joey Bart, um Brian Reynolds, Jared Triola, you know what I mean? the the cast of characters that are coming back. Nick York, really really good day. Um, interesting that the Pirates are now choosing to focus more on playing some of the younger players and interesting also who they’ve already looked like they’ve started to give up on. So, uh, we’re going to have a lot to talk about this week as we break down the final six games of the 2025 Pittsburgh Pirates baseball season on Locked on Pirates. Be there tomorrow morning for a good one.

Let's go Buc's!
It was a fun last home game Gary. We need to somehow get it consistent
Skenes, Chandler, Ashcraft, Jones plus plenty of other options even if Keller is traded. Now, get some bats this off-season
Great job Bucs
A'S look like a good trade partner. Our pitching for their offense. I think Harrington is odd man out and think he will be dealt this off season.
