Toronto Blue Jays vs Kansas City Royals – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 21, 2025 MLB Season
And the 01 is lined to right field. That is a leadoff base hit. We’re half a year. George Springer, my goodness, he’s been terrific all season long. And back in the leadoff spot, Tampa and the first two here in Kansas City. Sharply hit and dropped out at second. The throw to first is in time. popped up. Pasquantino will give way to Frasier and the second baseman makes the catch for the second out. And a one hopper hit to second. A nice play made by Ernie Clement. On to first for out number three. A scoreless first inning for Treya Savage. We’ll have to tell Ernie about it. Softly hit, but it’s going to drop in right for a base hit. Clement board and Lucas to second. We’ll have to autograph the baseball and give it to him after the game. That one will bounce away from the catcher Jensen. And a wild pitch allows both runners to advance. Yeah, Jensen didn’t. Infield is in, but not all the way as this is lined to right field and it’s down for a base hit. Lucas is on his way home and will score. Clement to third. It’s an RBI single for Jimenez to give the Blue Jays a one to nothing lead. We have seen the safety squeeze from the Blue Jays in this situation before this year with Heineman at the plate. And the Royals defense plays right into the Blue Jays hands. There it is. And Heineman is out, but the run will score. Pasquantino picked it up. Puts the tag on him, but give Heimman a big RBI to make it two to nothing. Terrific. He wasn’t sure he was going to make the team. There was competition back in the spring. Now Springer with a base hit into left center and Jimenez is on his way to the plate. Springer’s on his way to second with a double. It is three to nothing. Whoa, a nice play by Guerrero. You savage over to cover. Two down. What a good play by Vlatty. Oh, outstanding play by Blatty. That ball hit off great owners for a long time. Waka gets Guerrero to reach for one. It’s looped into the outfield and it’s caught by the center fielder John Rae. A bit of a juggling catch. It’s about trying to give yourself a better chance to win a division and get a buy. So the Blue Jays two up with seven to go and have the tiebreaker, which means the Yankees have to win. He had the base of his middle finger a few weeks ago. He’s been dealing with a number of things since this one. A long way to left center, but it is caught on the track. And another example of how big this ballpark is off the body of Barger and everybody is safe. Two strike pitch and chopped weakly to the left side and there won’t be a play. Just kind of a tweener. Big spot here. Bottom four. And a liner into right. That’s a base hit. And two runs will score. And the Royals have got it back to a one-run game. And that’s called ball four. And again, Heinman doesn’t like it. And now the bases are loaded. Round ball to short. Jimenez to first in time to end the inning. The Royals get two. The Blue Jays lead by one. And a little looper is going to drop. Perfectly placed by Heinman. A base hit to start the inning. Pretty good lob serve right there by Tyler Hineman. He’s had a There’s a base hit just over the glove of Frasier and Heineman up to second. Game here in the fifth and he hits it a long way to left center field and it’s going to be off the wall. Heinaman will score. Vo is on his way to the plate. It’s a two-run double for Guerrero. The Blue Jays were at Yankee Stadium. And now Baro, or rather Barger hits one down the right field line. A fair ball and Guerrero can jog home and Barger with an RBI double. It’s a three-run inning and a fourrun lead. Inning one to run on three hits. Way up in the air back of third and Mike El Garcia will make the catch. had to retire the side, but the Blue Jays get three big big runs that lead six-2 lined into right field. That’s a base hit and Yost Stressky aboard to begin the bottom of the fifth and the two-1 to Wit. Line drive to center field. And does Varo have it? No, it’s a trap. It is called a trap and at least for the moment it’s a base hit for Whit Arsenal and it’s been a very important pitch for him. Ground ball down to first. Guerrero will go to second. They’ll get one out there and then the throw will get by. But fortunately for the Blue Jays that comes from New York. It’s an automatic ejection. Here’s a base hit in right and a run in for the Royals to make it six to three. [Music] And now a base hit into center for Perez. Pasquentino coming to the plate. It’s six to four. Line to second. Throw to the bag. Got him. [Applause] This is sent to left field. slicing away from Schneider and he can’t get there and it is still in play. Kaggleรณ is on his way to third and in there. Infield is back for the Blue Jays and it’s a base hit to right for Gri and it’s a one-run game. Miranda dribbles it towards third. Garcia charges and gets him. A really good play by Mikel Garcia. George Brett, who is a Hall of Fame third baseman here, said that Michael Garcia is the best third baseman he’s ever seen. Guerrero squibs one the other way for a base hit. His second hit of the afternoon after that big two-run double back in the fifth. Clinch a spot. Not the way they would want to do it, obviously. There goes Guerrero. The throw down in time. Line drive right center field. Lucas caught it. Oh my. What a catch. And he pokes it to center field and it’s a base hit. 3-2 in the air to right center field and it is going to be caught. Good range. That’s out there in center now and he comes over to get it for the second out. [Applause] Line drive left field base hit and Straw comes in to score. A huge RBI single for Ernie Clement. It is seven to five. Oh, what a big clutch hit. This is center right center field. He’s hit it pretty well and it’s beyond Kaggleรณ and Clement is rounding third heading home. Jimenez is on his way to third with a triple. It is 8 to five. Pretty interesting year for Lowers. This one has popped up foul and there might be a play here. There is Ernie Clement makes the catch with just a foot or two to spare. Two down. A bouncer to the right side. India spins and fires to get Springer and that’s all they’ll get. Here’s a ground ball to the right side. Not hit hard, but he’s got a chance to beat it out, but he will not. Out by a half step for the second out as Baro moves to second. Ground ball to third. Up with it, Clement. One down. [Applause] Two-2 and a ground ball just fouled. No, it’s fair. It’s fair, says first base umpire Nester Seaha. And it’s a double for Ystreky. And it is not a reviewable play. the 10 ground ball to second and the Blue Jays are going to the postseason. [Applause] Hoffman gets the save. They beat the Royals here today 8 to5 and the Blue Jays have locked up a playoff spot this

MLB video review is obviously biased again the Blue Jays with 2 really bad calls in a week. They said not enough evidence to overturn the call. Are they blind–every angle showed that is was a catch, the announcers were in disbelief and Varshow said it was 100% a catch.
Go Blue Jays from Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช
kc such a stubborn and lucky team
Yes, badly needed win. Get some momentum back!
Hope the umps and people in charge of the replays all get sober again before the playoffs. Lot of terrible decisions lately. I must say as much as the NHL goalie obstruction rule is vague the NHL is miles better when it comes to getting the replay decisions right.
Trade Brendon little
terrible fielding by jays, like learn your positions duties wtf
I must say the umpiring in this series stunk badly ! but you pulled it off !!!!!!!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Ump crew on Yankee payroll?
Blue Jays suck. In freefall they were lucky to win even this one game.
I like Yesavage starting in playoffs then lauer mixing it up untill the bullpen giid combo.STOP MESSING WITH LITTLE!!!!!
Damn, Little got lit up.. scared me a lot, not a little
6:24 Puzzling dive by Schneider. Nowhere even close, what a silly decision.
Its a win but a twitchy win.
Unfortunately for the Blue Jays – the Yankees have an automatic victory in their next six games.
Congrats Jays
That call on Varsho's clear catch was brutal, the NY control room trying to rig to help the Yankees.
Tiger fan here. Been creeping around the Jays games to watch Max pitch, one of the all time greats. I have become a springer fan along the way. .Hat tip George springer. Aint no quit in that young man.
Good job guys, did not feel good about this series at all
Little is going to cost the Jays a series if Schneider is adamant about pitching him!
The Jays need to get any slump out of the way before the postseason begins. Hopefully, they can win a few in a row right near the end of the regular season, and then take that momentum right into the "playoffs" baby… ๐ฃGJG
