Wasn’t the prettiest win, but at least we didn’t get flexed out of prime coverage in the middle of the game like the Bungles.
Polar opposite of week 1, ggs lets get right for Ireland
The secret to keeping opponents under 30 – simply have the other team turn it over 5 times.
How did the Steelers win and still ruin my day?
What I like is the winning.
I don’t know what the hell just happened but I’ll take it.
Pat Meyer is going to get Rodgers killed.
HOW WE WIN
I’ve never felt so disgusted after a win
The over-reliance on splash plays to save the day each week is tiresome after so many seasons of same.
Their entire gameplay is completely unsustainable and we absolutely did not earn or deserve a win today. A good offense is going to put up 50+ on us.
Only beating the bad Patriots 21-14 when you had 5 takeaways just makes me feel like this team isn’t very good.
A win is a win but I’m definitely not feeling very confident about this team despite being 2-1.
You can already sense the barely over .500 record and getting our asses blown out in the wild card round of the playoffs from here.
I am whelmed. What a shitty game
That game was preposterous. I guess it’s good the front 7 are alive again but what a mess for both sides lmao
I have never been simultaneously this impressed and upset with a defense in my entire life.
Are we all in agreement that had NE scored a TD there, Vrabel was 100% going for 2 for the win?
Yay for a win but can we dispense with the 3rd down soft zone?? Wtf??
We haven’t won in New England since 2008. It was ugly. But I will take the win!
1. All the turnovers are great, but the defense still looks worse than it should when it isn’t getting them.
2. AR is still a legit starting QB, but he feels more like a #20-25 guy who’s ceiling won’t get us past the first round.
3. Lord do we need a legit WR2.
4. A legit DC would go a long way. Austin is closer to Matt Canada level than you’d think.
5. If we’re still hanging around in a few more weeks, I want an upgrade in the secondary almost as much as I want a real WR2.
Good news: defense a little better
Bad news: offense significantly worse
This was a Pickett era win
As a Steelers fan living in New England. I can’t wait to listen to our sports radio for a week. It’s going to be awesome.
We’re getting blown out by Minnesota.
Unlikely win. Completely unsustainable way to play football
A win is a win but man I just don’t feel good about it lol this game is what actually made me realize we’re just mid. Defense can’t stop shit – but when they start getting turnovers, THEN the offense is totally invisible. There’s no synergy between the two sides of the ball.
Thank god for the turnovers, but you can’t rely on them of course, and Drake Maye was tearing us up. There IS a better team here but man it’s frustrating watching them right now, not sure if it’s the coordinators or what but it’s rough
2-1 though with a lot to work on, I’ll take it nonetheless and hope we get it together asap
To me this game was a master class in why you can’t skimp on your coaching staff like Tomlin does. How many times was Henry just straight up unguarded today? And don’t get me started on the OL. Mason Rudolph will be starting games this year because Rodgers is dead.
I’m once again asking: where the fuck is Roman Wilson?
Steelers punching balls like a dominatrix. Getting out of Gillette with a win isn’t easy, but hell yeah, they did it.
The good news is that Derrick Harmon and Yayha Black did help against when they were in there. Snaps for those 2 should keep going up.
