Somehow We Turned This Into Not A First Down

  1. absolutely no reason at all he should see snaps over Chism or Williams in the slot, he has done NOTHING this season

  2. He ran towards the ball when he should’ve just sat at the sticks and caught it. So brutal but they didn’t even deserve to be in this game

  3. Year 3 this bum has no clue what a zone defense is or how to sit in the soft spot. He’s done him and mondre are ass

  4. He ran BACKWARD. Dude literally doesn’t even know which direction the first down is in. Pathetic.

  5. Douglas is too small for the NFL unfortunately. Passes need to be pinpoint to be in his catching range, he has so many drops so he’s not reliable to catch ones that make it to him. Just not good enough

  6. Lik bro literally just turtled the ball into your body and fall backwards, the refs are giving you that first down.

  7. I remember getting downvoted into oblivion for saying the sub has overrated him and he’s a fringe player at best. He makes mistakes constantly especially with route running which is supposed to be his bread and butter.

  8. Exactly why I can’t call it a bad play call. Demario (he’s lost his nickname) just needs to fall forward and its a conversion.

  9. So many plays that were such massive set backs but there was so much to like about how they played. But self sabotage was brutal 5-6 plays after long drives or promising drives

I’m bummed about today. Pats were better. Fuckin turnovers….. and not the yummy kind!

  11. All he had to do was fall on his butt backwards after the catch and it’s a first down. Afraid of some contact there? Seemed like it.

  12. Pops season stat line looks a lot like Xavier Legette’s. That’s bad, in case you’re wondering.
Think it’s high time to see him cede snaps to Hamilton or even Efton.

  13. I get he was trying to make a play but 4th down at the line you never ever take the ball backwards. He’s been around long enough to know that. Starts to bring up genuine concerns if he’s just afraid to get hit.

  14. We lost but it was close for 5 turnovers. I see alot of potential when these young guys grow and tighten up. This game still looks way better than anything weve seen from mayo or 2022+ bill

  15. Running backwards in football like this is like not touching every base when you get a home run baseball how the fuck did you manage to do that? What the fuck?

  16. He instinctually doesn’t go upfield; it was cool his rookie year but he actually got worse about it year two. He loves the hesitation and step-back, i’m sure it worked every time in college

  17. I also believe that Maye overthrow that led to an interception is mostly due to throwing to a 5’6” WR who absolutely never jumps vertically for a catch. Watch the replay. There’s no way any other WR doesn’t at least contest for that ball. Pop was great when he was all we had, but we have better options now. The critical play captured in the photo is just simple awareness of the down marker. He isn’t fast enough to escape by going backward. The entire game was on the line on that play.
