Corbin Carroll is the 1st D-back to join the 30-30 club π (Check out how he got there in 2025!!)
Corbin Carroll said to lead it off against your Mets starter tonight. Corbin Carroll hits a fly ball to right field and goodbye. A leadoff homer and the Diamondbacks strike first. That’s only the third home run given up all season by Griffin Canning. Now that’s how you start a ball game right there. One to measure, one to rake. took the first pitch and jumps all over a 95 mph fast ball just off of that inside corner. 10th of the year for Corbin and it’s one nothing Diamondbacks. There’s a drive to left field. That ball is gone into the first row of the seats for Corbin Carroll. 3-1 Arizona. This guy’s just so electric, Alex. I didn’t even think he got it. You and I were watching the ball fly. I mean, opposite field power. He’s not even six feet. He’s just a ball of muscle and he gets everything behind his swing and his barrel. That’s his 20th homer on the year. In the air to right. It’s deep. It is gone. Number 30 for Carol. And another milestone for Arizona’s homegrown Wonder Boy. Kind of a breaking ball. It just flooded up there on the outside part of the plate. Corbin has tremendous plate coverage. He knew he barreled that one right away. There goes Corbin and in standing with stolen base number 10 on the season. Finan’s like a lot of closers around Major League Baseball. He isn’t too concerned with the base runners. Corbin going again and he’s off. Lis throws the pineapple up the line and Corbin has a stolen base. What is going on down there? Well, he waved at that curveball and lost the uh pineapple bat, but Corbin gets the stolen base and that’s his 15th of the year. And there he goes. Corbin is in there and he’s going to get third as it bounces into center away from Da Cruz. Chaos. You’ve got to feel a little bit for Will Banfield. His very first major league start behind the plate and he’s got to deal with this. There goes Carol for third. Wong’s throw safe. Really close. It was a high tag on the chest. Nobody close to him got a walking lead like he always does out there at second base. And when Beo didn’t make him stop, he just kept on going. Stolen base number 25. There he goes. Ramuto, no throw. Oh, and there’s the first 3030 season in Diamondback history. He has homered and stolen a base in the same game. Appropriate his 31st home run. And that was his 30th stolen base.
9/21/25: Corbin Carroll makes Arizona Diamondbacks history as he becomes the only player in franchise history to join the 30-30 club! Enjoy some of his homers and steals throughout the 2025 season to help him get to this point!

The baseball world getting corb'd tonight!
This just goes to show how ridiculous Ohtaniβs 50-50 was last year. Its hard enough to get 30-30 even with the bigger bases.
