Saints Are A TOTAL DUMPSTER FIRE: New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks Instant Reaction & News
[Music] What’s your one-word reaction to the New Orleans Saints absolute embarrassment to the Seattle Seahawks? Mine is dumpster fire. Disaster. What the heck? Unbearable. Unwatchable. Any of those probably fits the bill. We’re going to have our instant reaction here. We’re going to break it all down. I’m going to tell you the stats. I’m going to tell you the information you need to know. This was disgusting. Uh, I’m just going to go ahead and say this right now. The fact that the New Orleans Saints have the gall to call what they just did football is disgraceful. Um, we all knew they were going to be a bad football team. We all knew that this was a rebuilding squad. We all knew there was going to be struggles and we all knew there was going to be ugly games. But this might take the cake for the worst display of football I’ve ever watched. And I’m not just talking as a Saints fan. I’m an Arkansas Razerback fan. You know how hard that is to top? That’s disgraceful. And the New Orleans Saints, once again, through self-inflicted wounds, through uncomplentary football, and through boneheaded plays, cannot win and cannot dig themselves out of a hole. They are their own worst enemies. Once again, grade the Saints performance. If you give them anything above a D, I will question you. Shout out to the team because they did show fight late in the game. I I will give a lot of credit to this team. By no means am I excusing what they did. By no means am I saying that we should just forget about everything else that happened in this game. But I do want to give some credit to this team for still trying to put up points late in the game and still trying to force turnovers. They did. Quincy Riley forced a fumble. That was absolutely awesome to see. I think he needs to get more run. But this game was so bad that not just the Seahawks, they didn’t just win, they weren’t the only teams that put their backups in. We saw Tyler Shuck take the field today. I mean, you had 11 penalties. That is three plus games in a row with seven plus penalties. Disgraceful display of football. You cannot win football games when you have 77 yards and penalties. It’s not how that works. Seattle had eight for 70. That’s also disgraceful. But the difference between Seattle and New Orleans was that they had the ability to give up some of those plays. They have the ability to bully you, get the penalty, and it really doesn’t make much of a difference. I don’t know what you would call today, but I would not call it football. I would call it a disgrace. I would call it a joke. And I think that there needs to be a serious reconsideration as to who gets playtime in the future weeks. Next week, you have the Buffalo Bills on the road. You might lose by 70 points. Just gonna be totally honest with you. I like to to pride myself in being unfiltered, uncut, and dead honest with you guys. The New Orleans Saints might lose by 70 points. Spencer Rattler, I don’t think was a problem today. I thought he was fine. And when I say I thought he was fine, I don’t want you guys to take that as me saying he was good because he was not. He was fine at the at best. A passer or rating of 83.1. Was sacked twice today. Was able to utilize his legs just a little bit. Nothing too crazy though. I thought Spencer Rattler did a good job buying time through the plays. I thought he did a good job of navigating some traffic, but at the end of the day, it wasn’t enough. And you could blame the offense for not being able to complete drives. You could blame the offense for pre- snap penalties. You could blame the defense for not getting stops and for untimely penalties as well. You could you could point the finger to anybody. But I think what we have to do in this is point the finger at everybody. It’s not one singular person, it’s the whole team. Chris Ave did get a lot of opportunities to make plays today and I can tell you 14 targets, 10 receptions, 57 yards. I’m going to be honest, it’s not ideal. A long of nine yards. Had a really opport big opportunity to come up with a touchdown early in the game. Seahawks did a great job defending it. Rattler put the ball a little bit behind him in my opinion, but if you’re a wide receiver, when you need to make those plays. And I’m going to be totally honest again, I keep it real here. I don’t like that I’m saying this out loud, but Chris Olive has not been good. He has not been a good wide receiver to start the season. And you can also blame Spencer Rattley. You can blame the offensive line. You can blame Olve himself. You can blame play calling. But the fact of the matter is the New Orleans Saints offense has been absolutely disgusting. Today was horrible. Alvin Chimera, not even three yards a carry. It’s unbearable, man. They cannot continue to go out and put on that kind of football. I mean, like honest question that I want to just ask you guys, when do you think we’ll get our first win because as I look at ahead into the schedule, the New Orleans Saints have to travel to Buffalo next week and that’s not going to go well. The New Orleans Saints then get to take on the New York Giants at home. Why do I have reason to believe that’ll go well? Their pass rush is amazing. Russell Wilson’s been playing good football. Patriots, I think that they’ll dogwalk you. Dennis Allen and the Chicago Bears and Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams. They had a big win today against the Cowboys. Might get dogwalked by them, too. The New Orleans Saints are not in a good position. They are not in a good spot in the short term and they need to address some things if they want to have success in the long term. If you I’m tired of the Saints losing football games. I’m tired of covering mediocre football. I’m tired of representing a a team and being a part of a fan base that quite frankly deserves better. I’m a firm believer that New Orleans Saints fans are some of the best in all of sports. And that is not an exaggeration. I think that the New Orleans Saints fans deserve much, much better than what they have been given. And until things are changing, we won’t see much change. And I know that there was a lot of changes offseason, but it’s very evident that there needs to be more evolve evolving and there needs to be more changes brought to this team. Leadership, management, ownership, coaching, execution, players, everyone’s to blame here. It’s unfortunate. We have to talk about some injuries that happened. Nothing too crazy, but want to get you guys informed. Uh, but really quickly, it’s hard to rep this team, but I’ll tell you right now, when you let the dust settle, when you wake up and you get, you know, a few months down the road, you’re going to be sitting here saying, you know what, we made it through the season. And I can also sit here and say, at least we look good. For what it’s worth, the new uniforms looked awesome. Look good, play good, or look good, feel good, play good was not the theme today, but it can be the theme in your life. If you want to look good, you want to feel good, and you want to play good, get this shirt, chatports.com/saintrew. It was $55. It’s on sale today and today only. So when you wake up tomorrow, this shirt will not have the $25 price tag. Make sure you take advantage of it. If you need to get a gift ahead of time for Christmas, birthdays, holidays, whatever, it’s a perfect gift to get now. Toss it in the closet, forget about it until mid November, and then just throw this in a gift bag, and you’ll be the best uh son, niece, nephew, brother, dad, whatever. You’ll be the best one of those in the whole wide world. Defense, I want to talk here. All right, this defense sucks. Brandon Staley and this defense were horrible today. 320 total yards, almost six yards per play. Did a good job stopping the run. I thought they were excellent against the run today. Less than three yards per carry. That’s awesome. That that that you should be proud of. But there’s nothing to be proud about. Quincy Riley forced a fumble late in the game. Shout out to him, the youngster making plays because it was awesome to see that. It was really really nice to see young guy come in, make big play. Again, it’s it was it was the Chris Paul meme of hits clutch three to cut the deficit to 50 points. But Quincy Riley made an impact in a very limited sample size. He made a major impact. So, I think it’s unfair to sit here and say that Quincy Riley should not get opportunities in moving ahead or moving forward. And I think all of us in the Hudat nation can agree Quincy Riley needs to be on the field more often. I think that we all can also agree that this team needs to clean up the pre-nap penalties. They need to clean up the discipline. They need to play a more detailed brand of football because that is not what they are doing. You were embarrassed 44-13 by Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks. And I don’t want to take anything away from them because they are a good team. The Seattle Seahawks are a good squad. Sam Darnold had a good day today. 14 of 18, 218 yards, two touchdowns. Drew Lock got some run, too. He was I mean, only got a limited run, but he got to play. Jaylen Milro was in for a handful of snaps here and there, too. Feels like Clint Kubak wanted revenge on this one. And boy oh boy, did he get it. Really disappointed in this team. I’m really disappointed in how things went. JSN had a crazy big day as well. five catches, almost 100 yards, and a touchdown. New Orleans Saints couldn’t do anything to stop this guy, and he was recovering from the flu. So, it was really un uh really unfortunate. Kell Moore saying in the postgame press conference, “We got beat in all three phases. Didn’t do enough to give ourselves a chance.” Defensively, you saw Kool-Aid McKinstry and Justin Reed come out with an injury. Um they both went to the blue tent and they both got back on the field. So, good news there. Neither of them should have long-term injuries, at least from what we understand now. But, we will monitor that situation. and Tory Horton returned a punt for a touchdown. 95 yards, 90 plus yard punt return. Um, three catches, also had a receiving touchdown. For what it’s worth, I saw a stat during the game. This was in throughout college, Tory Horton never had a game where he had a punt return and a receiving touchdown. He did that for the first time of his career today. Um, this is third straight game with seven plus penalties. I mentioned that off the top. Um, Blake Groupy missed another field goal. Kelvin Banks had a bunch of penalties. It’s just you can’t do it. You can’t keep playing this crappy brand of football. Kenneth Walker didn’t do anything crazy. Again, you did a good job stopping the run, but you did nothing else right. You did nothing else correctly. So, for the New Orleans Saints, they have a long road ahead and we are going to be here every step of the way. Whether you love them, whether you hate them, we’re still going to be here. So, be sure to subscribe to the channel because maybe, just maybe, it’ll help the pain go away a little bit. We recently crossed over 50,700 members of our Golden Gang. I want to say thank you to every single person who tuned in to our watch party, everyone who donated, everyone who tuned in, everyone who supported the show. We had another great day on Saints by Chat Sports. In the future, if you want to tune in to some more content, I encourage you to subscribe to the squad. And uh moving forward, we’re just going to make the best of the situation. Really quickly, I want to take a look at some scores around the league because there was some crazy football that happened. The NFC South as a whole had a wild day. Um Lopez earlier said, “At least we didn’t lose 30 to zero to the Falcons.” 13 to 44 doesn’t feel much better, but at least we put up points. Take that every day of the week. Browns shockingly take down the Packers in a crazy crazy game. Texans fall to the Jags. Vikings handle their business. New Orleans Saints will never be able to handle theirs, at least this season, unfortunately. Steelers, they come away with the win. The Eagles blocked a field goal to walk off with a victory. The Buccaneers took the Jets down to the wire. Walk-off field goal right there. And unfortunately, the New Orleans Saints fall again to 0 and3 for the first time since I want to say 2012, I believe. 2016. First time the Saints are 0 and3 since 2016. So, that’s awesome. My name is Trusy Trace Gerard. Thank you guys for tuning in to Saints Now. Unfortunately, y’all stay golden. We will see you next time. [Music]

New Orleans Saints highlights did not come often as the Black and Gold struggled in every facet of the game. The Saints really struggled on the special teams side as they gave up a punt return touchdown and a blocked punt in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. For Seattle, Sam Darnold had an impressive outing against the Saints and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba showed out after he appeared on the Seahawks injury report on Saturday.

"TRASH"
Moore left Philadelphia and the Eagles offense looks better this year now that hes not there.
Offensive genius! Well play calling has been terrible. Saints are in serious trouble.
Wait Atlanta and Tampa Bay is coming and they want cut no slack
1-16 this season. One word for this team? Garbage
Aints Mickey loomis has to go
Be patient. Rome wasn't built in one day. Give it a year, may be two.
I love my ⚜️
Bu we dam suk ass 😢
correct me if im wrong, but today felt like our defence was nonexistent. also the only reason rattler seems to be struggling is due to a not so good o-line. it feels like rattler is almost constantly having to run for his life, but even through that hes doinog pretty well. i think this is what's making the saints look so terrible.
I'm sick of Rattler he's not a NFL QB he didn't even belong in college
We will be 0-17 as long as Rattler is qb we need to get rid of Chris Olave
🤦🏾 this game was an absolute embarrassment 🤬 I've been a saints fan my whole life,I'm born and raised in New Orleans… but this 2025 saints team is a "FUKKN" Joke🤬
We're not going to Beat Buffalo i can tell ya that much
Olave is not THAT guy. We have no defense. None.
F
But we keep seeing all these memes telling us how they don't suck ? A complete dumpster fire for a defense, a backup QB they're calling a starter. All anybody has to do is cover Kamara and notch a mark in the win column. FIRE MICKEY LOOMIS. Until that happens, this is what you'll have every season. WHO DAT gonna give Mickey and Gayle their money? YOU ARE.
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
At Ed’s Grocery Store, if you go in and say you’re a Saints fan you get a complimentary Paper bag for home games… you insert holes.
We are truly the Mud dogs from the movie water boy lol
When is this so-called offensive genius, rookie head coach going to get any blame ?
I'm stupid enough to think maybe that's what they needed to get a fire under their ass after this game no fire big enough the absolutely suck
Fuck this team
1st win comes next season, but I’m from NY so I’m hoping for a win vs. at least the Giants. I just don’t wanna hear the 💩 talking from my family and friends
They should just loose all their games to get a QB first round
It's the play calling on both sides of the ball I don't think it's a bad team but some of the calls especially on offense didn't make sense. For example we have some of the fastest receivers but no plays to set up play action plays
