Aaron Rodgers praises Steelers’ defense in road victory vs the Patriots

Well, Aaron, I’m here with the quarterback, but we got to start with the play of the defense in this game. What struck you with their performance? Well, I mean, they’ve been taking on the chin a little bit, I think, the last couple weeks, and didn’t really appreciate it. So, they came out and played incredible. We were terrible on offense after the first two drives. I didn’t have a good game, but the defense every time kept us in. I mean, end of the first half, deflection, interception, going in for a touchdown, fumble, touchback. I mean, the defense won the game. This was a a classic Blitzburg performance. Hats off for those guys. Offense, we got to get in the in the film room and get better. U because we can’t have our defense save it for us like that every week. Understandable. But you make the plays in that one drive to get the points necessary. What can you take from that? Well, we can take a lot from the first two drives. We came out, you know, played well. We got into rhythm. We were no huddle. Moved moved down the field, got a couple touchdowns, and we sat on the bench for like 30 minutes. There was a long lull there and then we stop him. Then we come out, I throw a terrible ball, then we’re back in it, then they stop him again. Um, so our defense played incredible. What we can take from it is we had to have some plays and guys made some plays. That’s about it. But we got to get better on offense. I got to play better. Lastly, you moved to fourth. You passed Brett Favre. I know it’s about the team in the moment right now, but what does that mean to you? It means I’m old. I’ve been playing a long time. Enjoy Ireland. I will. Thank you.
