Okay, it is the first series of the season between the A’s and Pirates. We’re still waiting on the outcome of Saturday’s game, but the A’s did take game one four to three. And with that, they continue to look good, winning seven of their last 10 heading into Saturday. On the flip side, Pirates, they continue to be abysmal. They’ve only won one of their last 10 prior to uh Saturday’s game. On the mound in this one, we will be seeing Jeffrey Springs and Mike Burroughs. Neither have been particularly dominant on the season, but they’ve had their flashes of playing well. Springs is not in his best form at the moment. He has a 540 erra in his last five. He’s also allowed five homers through those games. As for Bur Burroughs, he’s thrown pretty well, 363 RA, but he is not getting far into games. He has not made it past four and a third innings in three consecutive outings. That’s not too much of an issue because the bullpin’s not a problem right now. In fact, both bullpens for the teams have been throwing extremely well. It’s likely going to come down to the bats here. And the Pirates offense has just been dreadful. They’re hitting 190 in their last 10 games, averaging 2.6 a run, 2.6 runs a game in that span. I’m going to roll with the A’s here. So, yeah, we’re going to take the A’s on the money line for today’s free pick in this one. And that will be it for me.
