Im glad they pulled out the win, but something needs to be injected into the offense, shouldn’t take till the second half every time to actually start moving the ball.
After that first half I was gonna crucify this team but 2nd half they played decent enough but far from great. Next week against the Ravens will be interesting but glad this team didn’t fall to 0-3 by the way great job by Tyquan Thornton for stepping up!
Fuck it, Thornton is down there somewhere; he has been stepping up with Worthy and Rice out. Another positive was the defense.
What is wrong with Butker? That is 3 games in a row with a missed kick. Go Chiefs.
AFC West now a three-way tie for 2nd.
WE’RE SO BACK.
Over/Under on Wilson starting next week?
Defense looked good.
Everything else was…meh
What changed in the second half? That is how this offense should have come out
Ugly win, I love it!!
First half was hot garbage. Second half was a huge improvement with legitimate signs of life. I’ll take it.
Beggars can’t be choosers, I guess. I’ll take it.
Tyquan Thornton saved the season, we need to keep him in the picture even after Worthy and Rice get back.
Well that was definitely one of the games of all time.
Mahomes: **”Fuck it, Thornton down there somewhere.”**
Wilson: **”Fuck it, the tunnel down there somewhere.”**
A win by Double digits ill take it.
Worthy back next week. Offense showed some life in the 2nd half

A win’s a win. But that was tough to watch.
We’ve made the playoffs before starting 1-5. As far as I’m concerned we just needed this win for the morale. It might not have been beautiful, but the final deep ball plus holding the Giants to single digits has to have given a little bit of confidence.
If we see another 1st half like that against our next 3 we don’t win
Thornton earned his spot. Could have had a bigger night if he was ready for the ball on one play. Hopefully he builds from this and keeps the confidence. We will need him
One at a time guys.
One at a time.
What in the world happened in that locker room at the half lol
Thornton can play, but I’m not sure *any* other questions answered this week.
This should’ve been like a 41-10 win, was way too close for way too long.
This win feels great but this team still has a lot of problems. I really hope at some point we go out and trade for a running back.
Thornton is a fucking dawg.
Patrick needs to keep chucking it deep to TQT. Good things will happen even if they don’t connect every time.
“Twat” Tyquon Thornton is my new favorite receiver
26-9 if Butler can kick
26-10 if their guy could kick
Post game asked Jones if he tried to get Russ’s jersey after being snubbed twice: “I don’t want it”
Mahomes 2 leading receivers tonight couldn’t even make the Patriots roster. They literally paid out Juju’s contract to cut him.
I think it’s wise to put the deep ball back on the menu, even when it’s not working. The dink and dunk stuff made sense and was an important evolution in Mahomes maturing, but that threat is going to be huge. Once Worthy is back to really draw coverage, it’s going to be nasty with Thornton.
We won a football game by more than one score. I am stunned.
Takeaways:
– Tyquan Thornton is nice. Would like to see him get more targets
– run game finally looked decent, which opened up the passing
– couldn’t ask the defense to play any better
– our rookies looked exceptional tonight. Nohl and ONL had some big hits, Gilotte was around the ball when he was on the field, and Brashard Smith had some nice plays
– would still like to see more pressure from our front 4
– Moore needs to come in for Taylor. His leash can’t be any shorter
Overall: excited to finally have a win and a somewhat convincing one. Not gonna get too high though. Still have a long way to go, and the ravens are looking scary.
Watching Mahomes high five the crowd and sign a kids jersey: he really is one of the greats.
Chris Jones when asked if was gonna ask Russ for his jersey after being denied multiple times before: “I don’t even want it. I’m over it.”
Fucking lmao
If any player on the Chiefs wants to know how much their off-field behavior can affect the team, they can just look at our first 6 games without Rice.
Defense gave up 27 to the Chargers. Then 20 to the Eagles. Now 9 to the Giants. SHUT OUT AGAINST THE RAVENS IS ON THE BOARD.
Looks like KC got a steal with Thornton. He looks much better than he did in that hellscape New England.
