It’s refreshing that we have a mature QB. I know it hasn’t been pretty. But I’m kinda bullish on this team. We’re 2-1. As Parcells says, you are who your record says you are. I think we’re going to win ugly this season and in the process figure out our formula. Warren has been really good this season. Others are stepping up. If the defense keeps this up, who knows!

Rodgers holds himself to the same standard he holds his teammates. Good leadership.
I’m glad you’re bullish but this is the most 9-8 team in the history of 9-8 teams
He did have some shite throws today but he has shown nothing but leadership since signing. And we have sorely missed offensive leadership.
Saying the right things. Good if they can continue to squeak out wins while improving
Rodgers must’ve been watching a different game than me. The defense was dreadful, I thought.
Steelers are not good. Maybe we will be, but we looked bad against a worse team and still almost lost
They gotta get in sync. First two weeks it was the offense playing well and the defense not holding up their end of the bargain. This week the defense does well in the run game, bends but doesn’t break, and forces five turnovers, and our offense can’t capitalize. The pieces are there, just have to put them together.
Crazy to me that the 42 year old QB is more of a solution than a problem on this team
Dude has been a class act so far. I loved him yelling at Muth on that 3rd down because he has a problem sitting down in his route, he has since Ben.
It’s called accountability, he owns his poor play. Yet he gives credit to the defense for keeping them in the game.

He can do enough to get us a handful of wins as long as he settles into the game manager role. That pick could have been a backbreaker today if not for the D bailing us out.
I don’t envy his task with the amount of hits he’s been taking though. 0 sacks is moving in the right direction but there were still a lot of hits that we’ve got to sort out.
Rodgers had the entire offense ditch their Bluetooth headphones for wired ones.
+4 in turnover margin you HAVE to win. Which they did. But it didn’t inspire confidence. Worst tackling team in the league statistically. Offense barely throws downfield due to shaky O line. I hope we figure it out. 2-1 is a gift right now.
He’s outperformed what I thought he was still capable of, I’ll give him that. I still don’t like him though lol that goes back years tho. Hard to undo overnight.

I’ve never seen a win feel like more of a loss before
He was MVP 4 times for a reason. Us Steeler fans had the good fortune to watch likely HOF quarterback play for 20 years, but he never sniffed winning MVP.
Rodgers is in the conversation with probably 3-4 guys as the greatest to ever play. The only thing he’s missing is rings. All this to say, I hope someone with that resume takes accountability and holds everyone around him to a higher standard.
The defense did not play great today. We got a lot of turnovers but most of those were on the patriots.
Rodgers smartly sending the Patriots a big tub of buttery popcorn before the game.
Cam cam cam cam TJ cam!
If nothing else, Rodger’s presence and leadership is good for the team.
Not exactly the same, but up and coming nhl players talk about how playing for even a short time with Crosby changes everything about the way they look at things.
Warren is averaging 3.2ypc…
Packer fan here. Rodger’s will always hold himself accountable and lead by example. The media will make it out otherwise, but I’m glad he lead yall to victory and yall can see it with your own eyes now. Sorry we couldn’t take care of the Browns today, their defense is for real!
The defense was incredible? Are we serious? The pats moved the ball at WILL. This defense is extremely worrisome
When was the last time we didn’t have a QB that took accountability??
I do too…but I think that’s more of being a leader instead of blaming people like he has publicly before. Because he could of said alot! That said ,they came through when needed and was an ugly win that I certainly will take. I just can help wondering how awesome Aaron would be if he had more than 2 secs because of our tackles..🤦♀️
Warren has blatantly had a mid season so far. Our line isn’t amazing, but Warren is the splash play guy. Why the OC is giving Gainwell touches and force feeding Warren to less than 3.5 YPC is beyond me.
I’m glad he’s being accountable. Not sure if I’d call that defense “incredible” though. 5 turnovers, great. Getting constantly gashed on skinny posts and crossers over the middle for the 3rd game in a row, bad. Total inability to stop anything on 3rd down, terrible. Can’t stop the run; to the point where the opponent will go for it on 4th and long 2 from their own red zone with several minutes left in the first half of a tight game. Not good. Defense still has a looooong way to go.
Love how this sub has 1890’d on him.
“Hes such a drama queen and distraction” to “I’m so glad he’s yelling at his teammates they really needed it”
Well the defense did ok. It was more the pats being just as bad than it was the defense doing incredible. But rodgers yelling at muth was definitely needed. He held himself accountable. Hopefully muth will too.
I think Rodgers is a ticking time bomb, and it won’t be his fault when he explodes.
He crawled away from retirement because he believed, like we all did, that the Steelers are a competent Org with great coaches and a highest-paid-this-was-supposed-to-be-#1-in-nfl defense.
Our OLine is bad. Rodgers is getting pressured, and hes taking big hits. He may not last all season. He has no one open to throw to, guys dropping the ball, or running the wrong routes.
Our run game is mid and doesn’t have an identity. Warren and Gainwell are trying, but there’s a scheme and Oline cap here.
Our offense has been just competent enough purely because Rodgers is experienced enough for precision redzone throws.
The reality is our defensive scheme sucks. Our DC is a bubmblefuck. Our Dline isn’t living up to its payroll. Our scheme is easily exploitable and repetitive.
Rodgers is going to have good games that we lose because of poor defense. And he will have bad games that we lose and he’ll be blamed for the turnovers that cause it.
Around Week 9 – after we lose to Cleveland, Green Bay, and Indianapolis and we sit at 3-6 – the gloves will be off and the blame games and finger pointing will start publicly. And the fan base will fracture in two ‘its Rodgers fault’ VS ‘its everyone elses fault’.
There’s not going to be 5 turnovers every week for us to squeak out a win against a low-tier team.
Washed
I think by game 6 or 7 the offense will shape up under Rodgers. They never had a QB get alpha with them since Ben. Real HOF guys expect greatness not half ass play
The thing that will unlock this offense is the oline. They are raw and have potential and hopefully they will get better as the season progresses. But if they stay at the level they’re at now, it’ll be another disappointing season l’m afraid.
I have 0 faith in the coaching staff
He always took ownership, Steelers fans only love him cause he’s on the team. On any other team, all of you would resort back to your hating ways
Offensive line has been absolutely atrocious, same with muth. Pair that with the defense and it’s a leaky dam that will break entirely if not addressed and addressed SOON
Win ugly is every season at this point. I dont care how we do or how we do it, as long as we make it past the first round of the playoffs this year
Peyton won ugly all the way to the Super Bowl with the Broncos
Accountability is nice
Rodgers is a boss
He has been the best thing about the team so far. Super happy we grabbed him.
My biggest concern was that he would try to overhaul the system like he did with the Jets, but he is meshing nicely.
This offense has a lot of work in front of them to become a really good group. But being the number 1 red zone offense is pretty nice 🔥
