  1. I really like Stevenson, but I don’t see how the team can continue trotting him out there after all the turnovers

  2. These aren’t even hard punches.

He knows he has fumble issues and still refuses to secure the ball.

  3. 10 since the start of last year, wait no it’s 12, doesn’t matter, it was the game today, 💯

  4. It is time for him to get his act together. He needs to hold on to the ball like Kevin Faulk did here on out if he wants a job.

  5. Stevenson has literally lost this team multiple crucial games single-handedly during his tenure. His identity as a power back who can also catch is something I wished we could embrace, but this was an incredibly disheartening game.

  6. I just read that Tomlin made RS’s ball carrying issues a team focus point for training past week. If this is true, the game is up for RS. Every team will be zeroing in on his issues going forward.

  7. I think Mondre is a good dude, and we were all losing our heads in the match thread, but I stand by what I said, it’s time to move on

  8. We’re on the same page.

Thank you for everything you’ve done and we wish you all the best.

  9. If I was making $9M a year I would be spending a lot of money to find someone who could help me make sure I can hold onto the football.

  10. I’m not gonna lie, I have empathy for him, and wish him the best as a person, but if I were the commissioner of the NFL I’d investigate to find out if he was gambling on games, because fumbling on two-out-of-four runs is insane.

  11. I’m not a “omg bad game cut him” guy. But he has a massive hole in his game, it has objectively, singularly cost the team multiple games, he has been given YEARS to correct it, and it’s no better. It’s time. The good news is you already have a talented tandem with Gibson and Treyveon.

  12. Parcells and Bill Belichick would either bench or cut him. Remember in the Atlanta Super Bowl after blunt fumbled it. He didn’t play another snap. Stevenson’s a liability not worth it. He can’t hold onto the ball and he’s unreliable.

  13. He’s not wrong. He’s a solid playmaker but if you can’t hold the ball then that doesn’t matter much

  14. I agree, we don’t need him. He’s a net negative to any NFL team that he plays for. He’s always been this way.

  15. He has humility and takes accountability so I am really surprised his fumble issues weren’t resolved after last season. I was confident that would be a major focus for him. Two unforced fumbles.

  16. When he is at his best, we win games consistently. Dude is a beast but ball security has to come first

  17. I like him a lot, and he has talent, but like he says, it’s only worthwhile if he holds onto the ball. I really hope he figures it out because you can see how much he cares. It seems like he’s a great teammate as well, so it would be good for all if he got it together. I like the accountability, but none of this means anything if he can’t figure out how to hold onto the fucking ball

  18. At least he’s self aware. But yeah he needs to walk around with a ball in his hands while everyone tries to take it from him. That might teach him

  19. Is there a tell in how he carries the ball or something?

“Punch it under with the left and it comes out” type of thing.
