  1. Getting swept at home in 3 must-win games while looking like a bunch of flaccid wieners certainly is the post-2022 Astros in a nutshell.

  2. Well that’s one tough way to end the home slate. They will be back here in 2025, we gotta believe

  3. Damn, worst possible time for Alexander to revert back to his pre astros self. I like altuve at leadoff.

  4. I think we are going to have a good year in 2026. We just need Yordan for a full season, Walker to find himself, Cole to be the next coming of Yordan, Paredes to get a new hamstring, Correa to have a “my time again for real this time” year, Altuve to find the fountain of youth, Smith to work with another team’s hitting coaches, Pena to be the same Pena, and Meyers to not regress.

    Totally doable.

  5. just a complete and utter embarrassment on all fronts
no one has been clutch this year, from starting pitching, to bullpen, to offense. its all been so ridiculously underwhelming.

  6. Oh lord. God bless us all. And please let these fools baseball skills really really shine in the next week. Amen.

  7. The biggest bright side I can think of is the money for Abreu, Pressly, Montero, and others comes off the books after this season. Hopefully they don’t blow it all on Framber though.

  8. Have to win a minimum of 4 games this upcoming week and hope it’s enough since we don’t have any tie breakers if we want to make playoffs. But yeah, team isn’t going anywhere in playoffs even if they did make it, I just want to see the streak continue for selfish reasons.

  9. I won’t say I want to miss the playoffs, but it would be absolutely miserable to watch this brand of baseball in October. It’s absolutely amazing that the Stros did as well as they did with the worst injury luck in the Majors. Just sucks to watch

  10. There’s one Rangers fan that’s always so Agro against the Astros I wonder if Altuve pissed on his dog.

Oh well. Maybe something spectacular will happen if we get to the playoffs as a Wild Card.

    If not. Go Tigers/Guardians/Blue Jays/Padres/Brewers.

  11. Thank god I’ve had Hollow Knight: Silksong to keep me occupied these past three weeks because Houston Athletics have not been doing the job….

I just got the 100% Completionist achievement yesterday

  12. Are there any lawyers that can help us draft up restraining orders to keep Cintron and Snitker away from Cole for the next week so they don’t corrupt him?

  13. Mariners fan coming in peace here:

I don’t know about y’all but we were fucking SWEATING and somewhat dreading having to face y’all on the road with the playoffs/division on the line. The fact that y’all got to where you are despite all of the injuries is a testament to how much of a threat y’all actually are. Always look forward to seeing the games against y’all and I can’t wait for the next one. See y’all either in the post season or next year!

    Much love y’all <3

  14. As frustrated as everybody is right now, I do think it’s important to point out how amazing it is that the Astros are even in the wildcard conversation given how this season has gone injury wise. That doesn’t help these losses feel any better but it’s a testament to what the Astros have built here over the past decade.

In terms of playoffs, it’s hard not to assume this team is done for the year, but mathematically there is still a chance. For the final week, the Red Sox play Toronto and Detroit while the Tigers other series this week is against Cleveland. These teams are giong to end up beating up on each other and depending on how things shake out, there could very well be a possibility for the Astros to still get a wildcard spot. But, they are going to probably win 4-5 games to end the season, a very real possibility vs the As and Angels. Hopefully they show a bit more life than they did over the weekend.

  15. Honestly just blame our medical staff at this point. The fact we made it this far is a miracle. We’re deadass playing on higher difficulty
