AJ Hinch post game comments after being Swept.

  1. I would’ve rather secured the division last week and not had any excitement this week, but pop off, AJ.

  2. I don’t care if we get swept in the wildcard, just beat this fucking team PLEASE. Just crush their dreams and prepare for next season with an actually healthy rotation and (hopefully) a couple new bullpen arms

  3. Chalk this season up. Trade Skubal in the off season, so we don’t lose him for nothing. Spend some $ in FA and pray Mcgongile and Clark can break through so we don’t have to rely on Greene & Tork being “the guys”. This current core is going nowhere.

  4. With Cleveland finally losing a game the magic number is 6.

I am not exactly confident in this, but if we sweep the guardians, that’s the division. That’s 6 (3 tigers wins, 3 Cleveland losses)

Of course I’d love to be in a better spot going into this, but if the tigers can pull it off, this series is the division.

  5. It just feels pointless to care about this team under pizza boy. Nobody is going to lose their job for this collapse, and I’m going to have to watch Riley Greene put on more beer weight as he strikes out and covers less and less ground in left for the next three seasons at least.

  6. He’s not the problem it’s Harris. Just a stupid sabotage at the trade deadline to add no hitters

  7. There’s really not much AJ can do. He’s managing with the players he has. This is in the front office and Scott Harris

  8. Tigers played way above their talent level to close out the season last year. For whatever reason our front office figured that’s who they were. They made bare minimum off season moves and prayed to whatever god they believed in that they could replicate. This season started and it’s like they didn’t miss a beat, once again played far above their talent level. Front office did the bare minimum at the deadline assuming it would be enough.

Everyone I know, that I’ve talked to about this team said the same thing. “It’s unsustainable, the tigers will be lucky to win a postseason series. The pitching staff will take a step back. Offensive production will slow down.”

I had this team at 92 wins and winning the division. Not looking so good right now. What I don’t understand is how all of us seen it coming, knew exactly what this team was and yet the tigers front office, including the manager, thinks this team is something they are not. The direction they want to take this team in feels oddly enough like the TB Rays. That hasn’t worked out for anyone and I don’t know why they think they are any different. Another wasted season from the tigers organization.
