There was so many players, at least nine or 10 of them that had career years. They’re going to have to duplicate that score in tight on a snapshot. La Pierre like the positioning of Lapierre there. He was waiting sort of in the weeds away from the defense. The release sets up this goal. Look at the tracking of the puck. Defenseman turns the puck over on the corner. It’s going to pop out and it comes right out front to Lapierre. doesn’t waste any time with the stick handle or anything. It’ll be an unassisted marker for Lapierre Thursday from the Giants centering Hershey. That’s going to be fantastic. A sold out building. Sold out in about 15 minutes to see the Cap take on the Flyers. Milano behind the defense scores. Sunny Milano has two. That’s another sweet shot. I talk about highlight reel goals for Sunny. His first NHL goal comes in the preseason, but it all starts out of the zone in a hurry. They create an oddman attack and that is a wonderful feather bath. They’ll bank a 52 win. The Caps picking up that preseason victory in advance of preseason game number two, which comes Thursday.
