πŸ₯ž CLINCHED πŸ₯ž For the 3rd straight year, the Brewers are NL Central champs! (Road to October)

And here is Freddy Peralta. Good start, Rock. Not uh overwhelming, but he did have eight strikeouts in five innings, a couple of runs, and a good launch to his season. Ow and two to Renfro. Got him. Fast ball and a strike out for Peralta. Got it right by him. Good velocity pretty much down the middle of the plate as he punches out Jonathan India right there on that heater. You can really get a nice perspective of it down here. how it doesn’t rise, but it certainly it certainly gives you this the sensation that it is rising. And as a hitter, it is so tough to get on top of that pitch right there. Perhaps he has a little more confidence in that heater now. Swing and a miss. Big curveball from Peralta. Gets a strike out on Pasquantino. That’s his third. We got a good one. So you guys have a talented shortstop for a long time. Massie strikes out. Keep his hands out of the nachos. Yeah. Renfro is out. A strikeout for Peralta, his fifth. Starting to rack him up here in the last three innings. 22 and he got him. Nice pitch. Big curve ball from Peralta. The velocity gap between his fast ball and that breaking ball. One ball, two strikes on India. And he got him. Blocked by Contraras. India doesn’t bother. And a strikeout for Peralta. Backto back Ks. Seven strikeouts now. And two men are gone in the sixth. A home run in the first. The lone run for Milwaukee. And a swing and a miss. He got him. Peralta has been dialed with that breaking ball. 17 straight now for Freddy Peralta. That’s strikeout number eight. Here’s a one-two bouncing ball. Capra rounds it. Throws it. Got him. Freddy Peralta. What a performance. Rang with really good back control. Done with good speed. All right, let’s see how it plays out. Long is ready and Tang does square. Gets a punt down. Here comes Dunn. He scores. A squeeze bunt walk-off for Bryce Terra. And the Brewers win three-2 and 11. A fitting end to a pitchers duel here this afternoon. And the Brewers win back-to- back games. Their first walk-off of the year. And they win the series from the Royals. What a game today. And the Brewers set up with one out now. Second and third. And Jackson Cheerio coming to the plate. And Cheerio hits that on the barrel deep in the right. Back is Freley. He’s got it. It’s going to be deep enough to score one. Dunn is in. And Cheerio puts the Brewers on the board first with a sack fly and an RBI. I thought that might have carried out of here. He He barreled that one up pretty well. One, two. Terra goes Cheerio deep to left field. It is up and gone. Jackson Cheerio with a three-run home run. Second home run of the year. One ball, one strike. Cheerio launches. He’ll watch it fly. Way gone. Jackson Cheerio a two homer game. Two home runs, five RBI’s. And Jackson Cheerio makes it eight to one. Cheerio out in front of home plate. Alverson a high throw and Cheerio is safe. The ball goes down the right field line. One run scores. Terang’s coming around. He scores. Cheerio stops at second. 12-2 Brewers. Yell a high drive straightaway center and into the shrubbery. That was a bomb from Yelich. Absolute rocket of chaos out into the Zen Garden and straight away center field. Christian Yelich backto- back knights with a jmer. 465 ft away for Christian Yelich. Yelich turns around 111. Takes a moment, says his goodbyes. And that’s into the gap in left center. Contras scores. Felix’s going to take third base. Don digging for two. He’s there. How about a 15 burger today for the Brewers? Beautiful swing. A 98 from Dunn. Line drive to right. That’s going to get down. One run scores. Dun’s coming around. The throw goes all the way through. 17-2. The merrygoround. Keeps going around. And Joey Ortiz has not been retired tonight. Tim doing a great job. We saw him lead off three innings where he got on base. Here he has a chance to come up with people on. Ducks on the pond. He sends him home. 0 for two with the line out his last time. And he drives one to deep left. It is way back and way out of here. Jackson Cheerio admire it. His fifth of the year. First pitch slider and that ball was tattooed. All the off speed that Burns has been thrown the last few innings. And going back to first and back. Cheerio taking the first pitch, which is very strange. And now wasting no time on the first pitch. Ambush bomb. 448 ft away. Runner goes throw to second base. No shot. Terra got a massive jump and stole the bag. How about Bryce Tang? Another stolen base for the leadoff hitter for the Brewers. Bryce Dang in there easily. Sixth stolen base of the year for Bryce Tang. Had 50 of them a year ago. Runners take off. The throw to third is in left. Terra’s going to get up. Scamper home. It’s one- nothing. Oh, Murphy ball at its finest again. Wreaking havoc on the bases, putting pressure on the defense. Shay Langalers, his problems throwing this year. Another inaccurate throw. Look at Terra. He reads the move like just a sailed throw by Langalers of Bryce Terang able to get home easily. And then Christian Yelich moves up to third base. Just a fly ball away from taking a two-run lead here in the first. Runners take off and that’s a called strike, but the Brewers pull off a double steal. They have five stolen bases in this first inning. Wow. And Hoskins gets one. I mean, paying no attention to the runners and Murf just putting on the green light with William Contrus and Reese Hoskins on the base. Five stolen bases in the inning. And the pitch runner goes. It’s up and in. Throw to second base is high. South Freelick is safe. The ball’s into center. Hoskins will score. The throw to third. Freelick is out there for the second out of the inning. Another run scores though. Six stolen bases in this first inning for the Brewers. When the Brewers stole their fifth bag, that was a new franchise record. They added an extra one. Four-run first for the Brewers. Runner goes throw to second. No chance. A three stolen base game for Bryce Terang already in the second inning. Julio Borbone and the Milwaukee Brewers have picked something up on Jeffrey Springs that they know when he’s picking over and when he’s going to the plate and there is no hesitation. Pour it on in terms of the stolen base number eight in the game in the second inning. Runner takes off down and away. Throw to second. That’s number eight for the Brewers. They’ve tied their franchise record in steals in a game. Yeah. So, they’re doing this off of the pitching staff but also off of Shay Langelers. See how inaccurate his arm is right now. The ball’s coming out clean out of his hand, but just inaccurate. Runner goes. It’s away. Throw and out is the call at second base. Durban trying to set the record. We’ll see if Pat Murphy wants to challenge. The Brewers have not challenged a play this year. And they will challenge. After review, the call on the field is overturned. The runner is safe. Milwaukee will retain the challenge. A record-breaking Easter Sunday on the base paths and Caleb Durban is the man to do it. Stolen base number nine in the game in the fourth inning. Jeff with nobody out. Two two coming. Fly ball center field. Back goes Lee. He is still back and it is gone. A grand slam for Christian Yelich. Opens this ball game wide open. Home run number five and he goes dead central. finally got around on that forcing fast ball at the bottom of the zone. Goes straight away center field. First grand slam for the good land in 2025 for the Bruins. Here’s Peralta struck him out. There’s number 1,00. Hang on to that baseball. He got Schneean on a change up and Freddy Peralta among one of four Brewers ever with 1,000 strikeouts. Congrats Freddy P. Now it’s Yell. They still play that fiveman infield. Fly ball deep right. It is way back and here. First career walkoff home run for Y. And it is grand. All he was trying to do was lift. Get it into the outfield. He lifted it. separated. You know, they got a hanging slider and he just hammered it. I’m telling you, is this not a great game or what? I mean, one to nothing going into the ninth. How about the Brewers pitching? Savali, the bullpen. Outstanding work by all of them. Fly ball into center. Raphael is back. Tagging is Freick. Raphael makes the catch. Here’s the throw home. It is late. Battle game over. Kaylin Durban does it again. Pretty good throw from Raphael from deep center to make it close, but Freelick with enough speed. The Brewers take advantage and they walk it off against the Red Sox for a second straight day. And they sweep the Red Sox here at American Family Field. And the Red Sox defense was their downfall here today. Not sure what Camel was doing on that throw to home plate that got the Brewers in position to win this one. Two-1 to Hoskins. Fly ball left center. Well struck. It is back and it is gone. A three-run bomb for Ree Hoskins. A four spot in the first inning for the Brewers. Goodness gracious. What a start for the crew. Still nobody out. Just the fourth home run allowed this year by Lazardo. Thought with the wind blowing the way that it was, that ball may have an opportunity to peel back to Marsh, but it was crushed. That one’s laced down in the left field corner for Jackson Cheerio. He’s got himself a two out double ahead of William Contraras. Fast ball coming in on Jackson. Boy, he able to pull the hands in and just hit a rocket down the line. Ground ball towards the middle. It sneaks off the glove of Sten into center. Two-run score. Terra ends up at third. It’s 7 nothing Milwaukee. Brewers really executing nicely. Couple of walks, eighth and ninth hitters, and Cheurio able to bang one through the middle and a couple of more runs in. Two RBI’s for Cheurio. He’s three for three. Top of the order getting it done today. And the Brewers still with nobody out. Fly ball to left. This one’s got a shot and good again for Hoskins. Second three run, a homer of the afternoon. My goodness, that was on an 02 pitch. Lazard laid one right in there and Reese Hoskins with his second home run. Six runs batted in for Ree. What a performance early on here today. 11 runs and all of them earned against Lazardo. Jackson Turio deep pride to left field. It is up and it is gone. Cheerio. Another three-run homer for the Brewers. A four hit day for Cheurio in the top spot of the lineup. 17-1. Brewers hadn’t hit a lot of three-run homers on the season. They’ve got four of them in this series. Three of them today. It’s amazing. Yeah, you come to the ballpark, you just never know. I mean, these guys are on a roll right now. McIll is ready. Here it is. Got him. Eight in a row for the Brew Crew. A 32 win in Cincinnati. And an exclamation point for Trevor McIll on this game. Another one-run ball game. McGill now 12 saves and 13 chances. Yeah, eightgame winning streak. They have won 12 of their last 15. Durban deep left center. It is back and it is gone. Caleb Durban walks it off for the Brewers. After all that, the top of the ninth inning. Caleb Durban on one swing says good night. 98 first pitch of the game for Morgan. Durban’s ready for it. Does not miss it. What a win for the Brewers. Runner at third for Yelich. Yelich on the first pitch. A base hit to the opposite field. In to score is Cheurio. Yelich wasting no time. It’s three nothing Brewers on an RBI single by Christian Yelich. Base is loaded. One away. Two and two the count and that is down the line. Fair. Everybody runs in to score. Ortiz Freelick right behind him. Cheerio right behind him. It’s a three RBI double for Christian Yelich. And the Brewers open it up here in the seventh. Eight to nothing Milwaukee. Incredible last two innings for the Brewers offensively. Runners will take off early again. There they go. Yelich a drive center field. Christian Yelich bangs one off the top of the wall. Three more runs are going to score and Yelich is into second with a double. He hit it to the wrong part of the ballpark. If it’s 5t to the left, it’s a grand slam. Dent yell a base hit. Cheerio is going to be sent home and Yelich with eight runs batted in. It is a new record for Yelich. Eight RBI’s. His most productive night in his career. Another payoff coming and he strikes him out on 101. 101 down and in. And Mizarowski is perfect through five. And he goes. That’s a strikeout. The Miz picks up strikeout number six. Payoff comes. High fly ball deep into left center field. Back is Collins. He’s got it for the out. And the inning is over. That ball had a good flight path from Christian Vasquez, but it died right in front of the Brewers bullpen. And Jacob Miserowski is perfect through six. Jacob Mizerowski back to the mound as we go to the seventh inning. He has retired 18 straight to start this game. And there’s a walk on four pitches. Highf fly ball down the right field line. Winds got a hold of it and it’s keeping it fair and it is up and out of here. Matt Walner the first hit of the game. But that is one incredible start to a career for Jacob Miserowski. Listen to this standing as he walks off the mound. Runners take off. throw to second up the line and he got the tag on him. What a play that was. Joey Ortiz might be one of his best of the year. My goodness. How does he catch that ball and get the tag that far up the line? What an athletic play. An acrobatic play by Joey Ortiz. It’s incredible this guy every night putting up a highlight reel. And what a spot for Andrew Vaughn to make his Brewers debut at the plate. And Vaughn sends it way back. And welcome to Milwaukee. How about that? Andrew Vaughn looking good in that Brewer Union. Bernie hits the slide and Vaughn with a three-pointer into the bullpen. Well, you only have one chance to make a first impression. And how about that one right there? Here’s now Vaughn and a drive left center and deep. Vaughn. Who wrote this script? Unbelievable. I mean, what what more can this guy do? Wow. First pitch, curveball way back. Grand slam home run. I think Vaughn wants to hit an American family field for the rest of his life. Drives one right field. This ball is hit very well. Way back and gone for Bryce Terang. Change up middle of the plate and Terra exits stage right. Seventh home run of the season for Bryce Tang. Terang out to right field. Has he done it again? It is back and it’s gone. Bryce Terang his second homer of the day. The Brewers hanging a dozen on the Nationals. Price with a multi-H homer game. 396 ft blast. Two outs in the ninth. And McNeel into center field. A base hit. Perkins throw to the plate on a hop. The tag. He is out. Ball game over. Blake Perkins loads up the rifle and finishes this game. Blake Perkins throws a 97 mph fast ball to home plate on a hop to end the game. What a throw. And what a way to end the ball game. It was 6-3 at one point. Brewers have tied it up. Collins fly ball deep into right field. Isaac Collins. It is a walk-off home run. He’s done it again. His first ever. And the Brewers have won their ninth straight game. I cannot believe what I am watching here with this Milwaukee Brewers team. Derang deep center. It is back and gone. Another day, another bomb from Bryce. Man, a lot of is he on that bender right now. He is hot. Andrew Vaughn, who has been responsible for a lot of this run here. And Vaughn left center field. That ball’s crushed. That ball’s deep. That ball’s gone. And just like that, Milwaukee is off the canvas. His ninth home run in his 29th game as a Brewer. You see here, just a backup cutter stays middle of the plate. And Andrew Vaughn is all over it. Yell. There’s the ground ball down the line. Scoring is Freely Ortiz around third. This game is tied. And Yelich has driven in four runs on a three for three night and we’re only in the fourth. Yell smokes that one to left. Back goes Hayes at the wall. Gone. Have a night. Yelli. Christian Yell. Four for four. Five RBI’s two homers. A double, a single. Oh yeah. What a night. And we’re only in the sixth. Two-1. That’s in. And it gets away from Stevenson. And racing home is Lockidge. And the Brewers have a big run. And the Reds have had a rough night defensively. The error by Freelick allowed to get to third. And now this one gets to the screen. Monasterio hits for Tyler Black. Fly ball deep left. Monasterio and they’re here. What else is new for the Milwaukee Brewers? Someone new stepping up night in and night out. You’ve got to be kidding me. Ambush first pitch. Via Dios three-run shot for Monisterio. Unbelievable. Mlan fly ball center field. Lockage is back. Lockage makes the catch. 14 in a row for the Milwaukee Brewers. The hottest team in the land comes from behind and they win it in 11. Brewers fans soaking it all up in Cincinnati, seeing something that has never been done in the franchise’s history. Two outs and it’ll be Contraras now. Oh, Contras highf fly ball deep left field. Did he get it? Yes, he did. It’s a walk-off home run. William Contrarus goes wild. Bill and sends us home. What a finish. Two outs. Bottom of the ninth. And William Contrarus with his first ever walk-off home run. 81 wins. Best record in the majors. Seven straight home wins. And you can’t do it any better than that. Partner, these guys, I tell you what, they find different ways to win every single night. A different player. Terang right field deep and good again for Terra. His month of August. Man, this guy’s on fire. Wow. You knew that was out of the ballpark. There’s your add-on runs. Eight to three Brewers courtesy of Bryce Terra. One-1 pitch. Cheerio. Fly ball to right. Got some carry to it. Springer is back and it is up and gone. Jackson Cheerio sends one out of here to put the Brewers ahead. Two to one Milwaukee on Cheerio’s 18th. This kid is electrifying. Well, this kid is unbelievable. BA, how about Jackson Cheerio putting the Brewers up two to one. A silencer here now. Yell goes deep into left center field. That’s got a chance. It is gone. Backto back jacks. Three to one Brewers. Cheerio and Yelich each to the opposite field. What a swing by Yelich. A pitch after Jackson Cheerio goes deep. It gives the Brewers the lead. Yelich extends the lead by two to three to one now. His 27th of the year. Oh, great swing by Yelli. Bryce Terang leads off here. Terang a fly ball to left. Back on it is Lucas. Back back and gone. And Bryce Terang opposite field home run. And it’s a 43 game. And Tang with his 10th home run of the month. I mean this kid is ridiculous. I mean the opposite field pop that he has been showing in this month of August is unreal. See the numbers for Freddy Peralta. It has been his best season as a big leager. Yeah, it’s been incredible watching him. His last 14 starts he’s 11 and one. He gave up all of one earned run in the month of August. A swing and a miss. And that’s how it starts for fast ball. Freddy gets a fast ball strikeout of Trey Turner. And Real Muto is rung up. Freddy Peralta surprised him with a fast ball. Couple of Ks in the first, a scoreless start and a he called strike three as he rings the bell on Brandon Marsh. Yeah, second uh second consecutive called strike three from Peralta. A swing and a miss. It’s another fast ball for Peralta for a strikeout. His fourth. A swing and a miss. He got him on a breaking ball that time. A curve seven pitch battle, but Peralta strikes out Bryson. Broken bat. Monisterio. Vaughn retreating. Got time. Makes a play in a one, two, three inning for Peralta. And down he goes. Peralta takes advantage of Marsh. Man, not even close. Look how far underneath and behind that fast ball he is. And Ber strikes out on the change up. There you go. Do you see the movement on that pitch going down and in on Bader? I mean, you have to really commit so quickly against Freddy’s fast balls. See what Freddy goes with here. and he put him away with a fast ball. His eighth strike out is his biggest. Phillies slam the bats down and the bases are left loaded. Schwarber out in front of a slow curve. 72 mph curve ball. A butterfly ball from Peralta and he gets Schwarber on a popup. Peralta’s scoreless inning streak is now at 29. Turned into a major weapon and it’s another change up and it’s a strikeout to end the inning. Rangers go in order. A couple of great change ups early for Freddy Peralta. One, two. Fly ball to center. Back goes Perkins. Still back at the wall. It’s gone. And Jake Burgerer hits a solo home run. His 15th of the year. Small streak from Freddy Peralta. Comes to a screeching halt. Caleb Durban winning run at second base. Monasterio up the middle. Base hits. Here comes Durban around third. The throw home not in time and the Brewers on a day where they clinch can celebrate properly from down six to one. Three in the ninth to tie. Two in the 10th to win it. What an at bat by Andrew Monister. What an at bat. Fouling off pitch after pitch. Finally gets a pitch he can do some with. Rips it into center field. And this is how you want to celebrate a postseason boat. know the loss when you get to go in there in front of your home crowd. Walk-off winner. What a game. And the 3-2 and Terra delivers in left center and the Brewers have the lead. Bryce Terang with a two out, two strike, 10th inning RBI and it’s 3-2 Milwaukee. How about Bryce Dang? How about this kid? Big time base hit. 3-2 pitch, two outs, and he goes right with the sinker and he hits a bullet to left center field. The Brewers take the lead three to two. Inside corner, that’s the ball game. Anion rings him up. Cubs come into Cincinnati and they get swept by the Reds. [Applause] 13 more to be

  1. What a year it’s been for the Crew

The winning streaks, the improbable comebacks, the defense, and the improbable heroes have made the Brewers the team to beat in all of baseball. They play the game so well and even though like any other team they may have their moments, there’s really nothing that seems to phase them, through everything they knew they had a way to win games, they’re ready to go win a championship for Bob Uecker and this city
