“Everybody’s got a job to do and I’m not doing it at a high enough level at the moment,” an emotional Harrison told reporters postgame. “I think I know what I’m capable of and to go out there and not play to nowhere near my abilities is frustrating. It hurts the team and I need to get better.”
Through three weeks, Harrison has reeled in 10 catches on 17 targets for 142 yards and one touchdown.
His rocky NFL start saw more production through three games in 2024 (10 catches for 198 yards and three touchdowns) compared to his current Year 2 showing.

Not wrong. He was absolute dogshit today
Get it together bro. Someone get this man some confidence
I can’t even blame Murray for this. That one throw was perfect and he was wide open. I get it’s only year two, but you gotta do better than that.
He doesn’t even look like he wants to be on the field.
He’s not a WR1, he’s a WR2. He never makes any “wow” plays. The true stars have plenty of crazy highlights, Marv has none. It’s gonna be hard for us to win if he’s the best receiver on the team.
that one drop wide open was a gosh dang travesty… GET BETTTER BRO.
I just feel like hes there for the paycheck . i wish his dad would talk some sense into this thick skul
The #1 lesson I’ve learned being a Suns-Cardinals fan is that when a young player is actually good, you won’t have to squint your eyes to see it. It’ll be clear-as-day.
I got sick of patting Deandre Ayton on the back when he put effort into a play, and then seeing centers on other teams, for whom effort is non-negotiable. Or celebrating Andy Isabella catching with his hands instead of his chest every once in a blue moon. Or Josh Jackson getting props when he scores 18 points on 42% shooting.
MHJ just isn’t that good. Sure, we could move him around the field like Puka Nacua and draw up plays for him like Jamarr Chase, but does anyone here think it matters? He isn’t a threat with the ball in his hands. He isn’t an elite contested pass catcher or route runner a la Julio Jones, either.
Nearly every play he’s ever made was relatively easy. Rarely do I see him make a play that your average 6’5 NFL WR can’t make. Michael Wilson is only okay, but I’m not sure he’s much worse than MHJ at this point. He could have filled MHJ’s role on the offense out just fine alongside a speedier WR.
I can’t squint my eyes and lie to myself anymore. Look at Ebukba. Look at Nabers. Look at Puka. These guys come into the league and immediately looked way steadier than MHJ has. Skill guys with talent tend to show it pretty fast and then grow from there.
(Hell, look at our own team, on the other side of the ball– Will Johnson has an ‘it’ factor to him that Marv simply does not.)
Sucks, hope he gets better, but that is where I’m at. I just can’t be excited he made a basic catch at this point.
Glad to see he is taking accountability, the fact that he is showing his discontentment with his play still gives hope that he will lock in.
Wish we drafted anyone else. Soft
It’s like he’s been coached his whole NFL career so far to be timid and scared.. funny that.
Someone get this man some dawg.
MHJr is a great athlete but he’s in his own head and truthfully the offense itself has been mediocre. He’s not a great fit for Kyler but even worse, his development seems to have been skewed by that fact and the offensive play calling in general.
Grass was wet
Everyone that rooted for the Cardinals to tank need to line up to buy a Harrison jersey. Time to reap what you sowed. Enjoy the fruits of your labors.
Showed more emotion and passion in this interview than ayton did his entire career
Marv doesn’t even look like a top 5 receiver in his draft class.
Yah, he’s been dogshit. Looking like a huge bust
Stop using him like George Pickens or Marvin Mims
Yeah I mean maybe if they made him a priority he’s definitely gonna force a trade
Petzing is from the Stefanski tree. These are typical problems with his system and why the Browns constantly struggle on offense. The RBs are going to eat (Chubb, Conner, Hunt) but the pass game will struggle. This system had Baker looking like a bust and Odell looking washed up. Odell gets out and nearly wins SBMVP and Baker is back to being a franchise guy.
At least he realises he was bad today, Murray put some on a plate for him today and he just straight up dropped them, can’t really excuse it.
I would give more targets to Michael Wilson after what I saw from MHJ
Why you shouldn’t draft a last name
Anyone have the link to a video of this interview? Can’t find it anywhere
Is it a confidence issue at this point?
I’m just tired of seeing McBride being the one with the most receptions every game your tight end can’t be the main target
