I don’t know what it is, but I swear, whenever I saw this guy pitch for the Cats, it must have been on his worst days, because I thought he was so bad the Giants would never call him up, at least not this year. I saw him give up 5 in 3 back in May or June. Gave up 8 in 3 in another. In August I saw back-to-back starts where he gave up like 10+ combined. Then after he was called up, he gave up 2 in 2 to help the Dbacks win a few days ago. He’s just never looked sharp when I’ve seen him, always “an off night”.
Well, when I saw he was starting against the Dodgers today, I envisioned him getting yanked before the first inning was over. I mean, give me a break. 6 innings of shutout ball? This guy. I don’t know what to make of him. He should be a middle reliever, possibly a setup guy, but the fact that he made it 6 against the dodgers and even started the 7th, well, nobody can be more impressed with that than me. Didn’t see it coming at all. Props to ya Travis. Nice work. Just kidding Trevor. 😉
