Certainly a scare on the Dodger bench and that’s an RB I single for mccutcheon. It is three nothing and there was no chance for him to make the play. The infield was too far back to be able to come in and make the play. First five Pirates have reached base safely to start the game. Now it’s Alexander Canario. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Clayton Kershaw Labor like this ball right field, Hernandez toward the line makes the catch tagging at third is fan. He will score a sacrifice fly. That was an absolute laser beam and this is 25 miles an hour off the bat harder than a hard hit ball two on two outs. He’ll come in to score second and on his way to third is Smith and the Dodgers have made it a run closer. It’s 4 to 31 away for Pittsburgh in the bottom of the third. Here is Andrew Mccutchen hit that line drive bullet back to Kershaw hit off his glove for an RB I single. Kershaw beats Mccutchen for his first strikeout. Yes, sir. It’s a 1 to 2 to 3 inning with two strikeouts for Clayton Kershaw and his career strikeout 28 Andy Pas leading things off bottom of the order for the Dodgers in the top of the fourth inning trailing Pittsburgh 4 to 3 and swings and drills one deep to left center field toward the notch. It is headed back, it has gone a home run and the PAS gets right back to pounding Pittsburgh and he ties the game with a solo home run. This is the Dodgers ninth hard hit ball against the Pirates two getting ready for the bottom of the the Dodgers tied with Pittsburgh, 44 Pirates started the game four for four with two walks in the sacrifice fly. Since Then they are zero for 10. He has thrown the ball now the way he did in August Kershaw with more walks tonight than he had all of last month. He gets out of this inning, under 85 pitches are right at 85. The reason you’re taking him out is all the work that he had to do in the first right back to Khaw and he got it. He’s alive. And it really was the type of outing that most pitchers melt down mentally from what happened in the first. He responded in a Kershaw manner. So he’s come out of the in a tie game and walked the first two men and trouble is brewing now in the sixth inning first and third with one out and Henry davis will bat and he goes the other way and there it is a base hit to give the Pirates the lead on an 0 to 2 pitch 102 miles an hour. And finally Henry Davis delivers with a man in scoring position. 5 to 4 Blake trying to try to clean up the sixth inning mess. Here’s Jared Triolo, center field and that will get down and split Conforto and, and that’s going to score two. Jared Triolo brings home a pair with his second double of the night. Gives the Bucks a seven four lead. Isaac Matson Dodgers have gotten the leadoff hitter on a little over 50% of the time four out of seven innings and swings belt it to the gap in left center. The Dodgers are within to show he hit it a long way and it’s probably a home run in a lot of different parts, but this is a very odd route by Cruz. I mean, he is going back coasting coasting now, he’s got to make a sharp turn to get to it and he’s only within about 3 ft of that ball, but he probably gave up a good 15 ft with the route and the lack of speed and the Dodgers are down to their final out the right guy in the right spot. Now with Will Smith, he had the walk off home run on Sunday. He’s got three hits tonight. The third one came on a second life on a foul tip that he should have been out on with a third strike but he turned it into a base hit. And RB I reynolds is there, raises the Jolly Roger. The Pirates defeat the defending world series champions in the first of a three game series. Once again, the Dodgers come out of an off day facing a team with a losing record. And once again, they come up short.
