Drew Brees joining ‘First Take’ as weekly contributor

Drew will be joining ESPN's "First Take" every Tuesday during this season.

Love Drew but fuck that show
Drew’s lack of having takes does not seem to mesh with first take lmao what an odd fit. Hope it works
I cannot believe Drew wants to be on TV so bad he’d deal with Stephen A on a daily basis. I love him, but he wasn’t great on NBC, and he hasn’t really gotten a shot since. I doubt he lasts 2 seasons, and I bet he hates every second of his time on that terrible show.
I think Drew will thrive in this role. Since Shannon left, they need someone who knows the game to offer concise analysis. Cam Newton is not the answer.
Drew seems too serious, and like a straight shooter who actually knows what he’s talking about.
I’m not sure how his personality will mesh here
Happy for him though. Hope it works out
I can’t wait for Drew to tell me how anything affects LeBron’s legacy.
