If Josh can stay healthy we may have just found our franchise LT. Interesting to see Jawaan at the higher end of the rankings here too
That’s where you want to see Simmons (and honestly Taylor for that matter) but it doesn’t square with their grades and I don’t know what to make of anything PFF does

Even if this season goes to Shit, if Josh Simmons turns into a stud LT like it’s looking, it bodes well for the next decade.
This is awesome for Simmons and a good reality check around Jawaan’s serviceability when he’s not being penalized.
But more than anything, I’m surprised that so many of these tackles aren’t put out on an island more. Looking at Anton, Penei, Luke, Laremy, Kolton… all winning on an island at 95% rate, yet play designs are only having them on an island 45-60% of the time. Seems like missed opportunities to sure up other areas of deficiency, no?
If we could just keep Taylor from the penalties.

If the o line stays healthy and keeps gelling and improving, and with Rice and Worthy coming back, the Chiefs should easily look like the best team in the AFC in the second half of the season. If that’s the case, this rough start to the season and all our panic will become a distant memory as the Chiefs steamroll through the postseason

Both are better than Trent Williams and way better than Orlando Williams Jr. Just FYI for those dogging on Taylor.
His penalties suck but he protects our QB when he gets beat and im all for it. If rather that than watch Mahomes gets creamed.
