  1. That ump was one of the worst all year. I really wanted this win since we emptied tank and Bruce Zimmerman is starting while the 1 seed is still on the line. The offense needs to get of this funk. They have been so bad on the road the last 7 games. Can’t score more than 3 runs without the help of the Manfred runner. Chourio specifically had a really poor day.

  3. All I hope is that every single Grant Anderson high leverage outing in the regular season has guaranteed that he will not be given that opportunity in the postseason.

  17. I’m really not dooming, but I think it’s reasonable to be concerned about the way this team has played over the last month, particularly away from Milwaukee. Hopefully they can flip a switch, but it’s tough to not be nervous.

  23. I don’t normally chalk up losses to umps, but I really feel like the ump beat us this game. At least that game basically didn’t matter—we’re already out of the WC round which is the most important thing. But sincerely fuck the Padres I hope we don’t see them in October because we are fucking cursed against them.

  39. Eh, it was a well fought game. Ump had a rough game and screwed us over a bit. Yes, Churio’s last at bat was bad. Hopefully, he learns from that. I am a bit worried about Ortiz. Let’s not forget he went 0 for whatever it was last postseason. Not a single hit. I hope he can contribute this year in the postseason, because I have a nagging feeling we’re going to need him to deliver at some point.
