We’re talking about whether or not the Giants can even finish 500 because they lose again to the Cardinals 6 to5 the same way we’ve seen it. They score, the Giants do, and before you can make a sandwich, before you can get a drink, anything like that, they’ve already given up the lead. That’s what it’s been. Jesse Verlander, we know it’s been an up and down season. and he’s pitched well in this second half, but unable to shut people down the way he has in a couple of these last starts, but he gave the Giants a chance. Did end up giving those runs up. Then you have Casey Schmidt booting a ball. Next thing you know, there’s a home run. The Giants are now down. They try to crawl back.
