Dude has killed it wherever he has gone as a DC and I think his tenure in Detroit as HC was underrated. I mean he took them from 0-16 to the playoffs. I think he would be a good fit with a quality OC.

This coaching staff outside of bones is terrible, but you can’t rush the passer with players you don’t have.
I do think he was a better head coach than he got credit for. The personnel side of Detroit was a nightmare during his tenure.
Autry is the reason our pass rush is gone, not the coaches.
Dennard is doing what he can to simulate blitzes and get pressure in unconventional ways *because* no one besides Jeff can win a one-on-one, and Jeff is getting doubled all the damn time. A different DC won’t make Arden Key able to beat any offensive tackle he goes against around the edge. Schwartz can execute his scheme largely because he has a future HoF at edge lol.
I still like Dennard. I don’t think anybody is creating consistent pass rush out of this defensive roster, especially with Sweat sidelined. I know Sweat is more of a run-stuffer than a pass-rusher, but he can move the pocket and does require actual attention. Without Sweat, Simmons is the only player who requires special attention from the offense, and when you only have to consider one opposing player very seriously, you’re not going to have much trouble slowing him down.
Our team is awful. We have no good players. If the titans just released every player on the roster maybe 20 of them would be picked up.
I like Schwarz a lot. It’s all about the analytics with him. If he’s ready to give the big chair another shot, we should absolutely interview him.
Nah we need Jim Washburn
Hell no
His not fixing the roster
Jim Schwartz specializes in an aggressive, attack-oriented, “hair-on-fire” defensive scheme that prioritizes relentless pressure on the quarterback, forcing turnovers, and aggressive man coverage with a single-high safety look in the secondary. His scheme utilizes frequent four-man rushes with defensive line stunts, while also employing calculated blitzer packages to confuse offensive line blocking schemes.
His players have claimed that they would run through a brick wall for him. He was definitely one of the best, if not the best DC that the Titans have had. I was surprised that when he was the HC at Detroit that he didn’t have more success than he did. Anyway, I enjoy watching him play chess with the opposing OC and more times than none being victorious on his side of the ball.
