Me too. I’m all for maximum excitement so long as we’re the top wildcard. A bye wouldn’t hurt
I so badly want the Yankees to get a real gritty win, especially against a tough rival. Feels like the last time we had a truly satisfying series like that was in 2017 vs the Guardians (last year against them was okay too but not nearly to the same level).
That said, I’m also kind of a pussy and I won’t be able to handle getting bounced by Boston for a fourth time since 2004…
