We need more jazz content out there. So like the video, subscribe. It really helps out. All right, guys. So in the latest Stein line, Mark Stein confirmed something that I think jazz fans already knew, but there was an interesting rec wrinkle that happened this last week that really confirmed some things. Uh from Mark Stein, he was talking about Ace Bailey and which team he was going to try to go towards. Or was it Ace Bailey? Let’s read what Mark Stein says. He says, “This one has been in circulation since draft night in June. Washington is the lottery team, according to various rivals that was the preferred landing spot for Ace Bailey. The Wizards had the sixth overall pick. Baileyy’s camp refused to engage with teams interested in bringing him in for an individual workout in the days leading up to the June 25th draft. in the apparent hope of steering himself to the Wizards. Then Utah with the number five overall pick stunningly selected Bailey despite a flurry of external suggestions that the Ruters star wouldn’t want to be in Salt Lake City and might even refuse to report to the Jazz. Latest chapter in the story quietly unfolded late last week when the Wizards signed Share Cooper to a two-way contract. Cooper, of course, is the son of Baileyleyy’s manager, Omar Cooper, who is said to have largely orchestrated Bailey’s polar polarizing pre-draft process, as the people’s insider Jake Fischer detailed below in June. All right, guys. So, there’s something there to unpack. Obviously, the team that the the Ace Bailey camp was trying to steer him to was the Wizards. That’s what Mark Stein’s confirming. Although I think we all knew that by the end of the, you know, by the time draft night happened, everyone in their dog knew that’s where Ace Bailey wanted to go. That or Brooklyn. And then this last week, Sheree Cooper, son of Omar Cooper, signs a two-way contract with the Wizards, basically confirming everything that everyone really already knew. Now, I think this is interesting how this is worded because, you know, it was a learning experience for me and everyone and the Jazz and the front office and everyone. Although maybe not the Jazz Front Office, I guess they knew what they were doing. But there was a difference, and we talked about this the whole time between the Ace Bailey’s camp, and when you talk Ace Baileyy’s camp, you’re talking about Omar Cooper and Ace Bailey himself. Ace Bailey, every time he was on camera, every time we got uh intel from his agency, it was that he was fine going to the Utah Jazz. And there’s a difference between Omar Cooper and the camp and the agency. the agency which was handling all his contracts and everything. Omar Cooper more of a player manager and he’s someone that kind of has been a big part of Ace Bailey’s life. I don’t know how far they go back, but I do know that he helped Ace Bailey with his high school and AEU career and helped do a lot of things for him in that way. So, Ace Bailey obviously feels some sort of allegiance to to Omar Cooper, which is fine, but I feel like Omar Cooper did him no favors this draft process because he wanted him to go to Washington and it’s clear getting his son there, it, you know, it happened. Congratulations to Sheree Cooper. Hopefully, he can earn his way into the NBA. But the Jazz proved that the most important thing was that you have to do what’s best for the Jazz and for your team and not be bullied by outside forces like Omar Cooper. The Jazz are in the NBA just like every other team. They are in the NBA draft just like everyone else. And they made the pick that they have every right to make. And guess what? It worked out just fine. And even after the pick was made and Omar Cooper tried to make some noise through Jonathan Jonathan Gavone and different national guys trying to get some some views and clicks and notoriety or clout or whatever. It didn’t happen because the Utah Jazz did the right thing. And what was that? Doing what’s best for the team. And if the Jazz continue to do what’s best for the team, things are going to continue to work out. Ace Bailey is here in Utah right now and doing just fine. Training camp is like a week away and media day is like a week away. The Jazz season is coming and Ace Bailey is going to be playing for the Utah Jazz. Not the Charlotte Hornets, not the Philadelphia 76ers, the Utah Jazz because they were the ones with the balls to make the move. And that’s the lesson that you got to learn is you’ve got to do what’s best for you. And honestly, you’ve got to talk and listen to what the players saying. Talk to the agency. Don’t just listen to player managers. The some of these player managers just do not have the best interest at heart for these players. It’s clear Omar Cooper had what was and you know the the most important person for Omar Cooper was Omar Cooper and it didn’t work out. Now he’s going to have fry sauce. Now he’s going to have some crown burger. Now he’s going to have some green Jell-O with bananas and pineapples in it. And guess what? You’re going to like it. It’s really good. To be honest, I’m sure Ace Bailey’s had his first taste of fry sauce, and I bet he’s liked it. It’s not too bad. All right, guys. Like the video, subscribe to the channel. I will talk to you next

There’s new information about Ace Bailey and which team he was interested in going to, and it wasn’t the Utah Jazz. How are things going now?
