SF GIANTS vs LA DODGERS On Location

[Music] What is up everyone? Welcome back to the end of the season. Welcome back to the Humaby Baseball channel. And uh well, I said I was coming here to go down with the ship. The ship has already been hit by an iceberg. The ship has broken apart. People are trying to jump into rescue boats, but the ship is sinking and uh we’re about halfway down the ocean now. And possibly tomorrow we hit the bottom or probably hit the bottom today if we’re being honest. So guys have lost I don’t know what five of six, six of seven. Um the Dodgers have won five straight against them. This was a game when I I was there first inning and I’m thinking we’re looking good right off the bat. Base hit Ramos base hit or actually a walk uh uh Shappy walks and Bryce Eldridge with his first career hit. So that’s cool to have seen that double off the wall drives in three runs because someone else reached base too. A damus I think got a hit. So three runs score bases were loaded and I’m thinking we got this now. Gilbert walks another run scores four nothing. This is on lock. This is going to be a 12 nothing win. Mark it down. I bring the humbaby luck. That hum luck ran out real quick today. Um, what’s up pound-for-pound everybody here. I want to say hello to everyone here before I continue. Amos guy in rocks. Justin saw and hopefully nobody didn’t knocking on the door or anything. I’m right right outside of Dodger Stadium here to find a place that had a decent internet connection. Hopefully it’s it’s working. Hopefully it’s working. Um inside I’m I’m right outside like that inside the actual stadium like um not inside the stadium but like right outside the in the parking lot outside the stadium. There was no internet like it was really bad. Anyway, um Bernie Freeman gets hit by picks. Matt Matt pitch Matt Maxy goes deep. Former giant Michael Conforto goes deep. Um Otani walks bets walks and that was Bhau. And then in Kang started today wasn’t exactly great. Um Bhau wasn’t great. Gage came in gave up a base hit. Um tied up the game. He did get out of the inning after that. But then who came in after that? I think it was Yoel Pagera. Um gave up a bomb to Edmund. And then hey, you know what? If you’re going to see a Dodger bomb live, might as well see one from Show. [Applause] [Applause] [Music] Raffy Devils also went deep a little bit later, but that made it 5 to seven. But um it was not going to happen today. a quick ninth inning, ball game over, Giants lose, and uh it’s it’s a it’s an interesting season. I mean, it’s a season where the Giants, we talked about it before, they started so so good, you know, really good, pretty hot. They were actually had the best record in baseball, I think, at one point, um for a long time, they had one of the better records in the game. They had a great winning win loss percentage. Malone Lee at that time was like, “Bro, they’re coming down to earth. They’re coming down to earth.” Maybe, but you know, let’s enjoy this. You know, let’s not assume that they came down to earth. Then they came way. They came below Earth. They were digging holes and and going down to the core. They weren’t just on Earth because then they lost like 15 to 16 at home. It was embarrassing. That’s when I played taps and said, “This team is done. This is a wrap. Forget about it.” Then they start winning every day and big. Then they start winning big and and home runs left and right and we’re thinking are we bad. They’re they’re like seven games out. I’m like this is nice, but they’re not going to get back in it. Six games out. I don’t No. No. Five games out. No, it’s it’s it’s it’s not four games out. Well, maybe three games out, two games out, one game out, half game out, and then we fall apart. Enrique Tamora. Enrique. That’s what they would say in Spain, right? Enrique Tamora. Uh, the pitching just can’t stop this Dodgers from putting runs and giving up three home runs by different players. Was it just three? I thought it was even four. Um, maybe I forgot. Matt Muny, Conforto, Edmund, and Otani. Right. Um, they cannot add more runs to their four-run lead than Dodgers tied then take the lead. A lot of cars are going by me. People are leaving the ballpark. I kind of parked on the side here. I found a little spot. Um, yeah, no doubt about it. No doubt about it. We actually touched the wild card. We did. We tied them briefly. It would it wouldn’t have been in because of the tiebreaker. Um, thank you for giving that like the Cali Okie connection. Buster in the clubhouse gave us false hope. I mean, just now right now the team is this is a not the worst team, but I mean, we’re not the Rockies at least, but we’re just missing something. You know, it’s just not quite there. We saw what we could do. We got power bats. We got we strike out a lot. Um, we got decent arms. You know what we could have used right now if we only had like a relief pitcher super reliable could come in sixth, seventh, whenever and give you a scoreless inning like I don’t know like the Mets got a guy’s names I don’t know if you guys heard of him Tyler Rogers that would be a awesome if we had like someone like that and then like someone who’s filthy who could come in either setup man or a closer and just you know strike guys out. Um, the Yankees actually got a guy, his name is Camilo Dvong. I don’t know if you heard of him, but that would be nice to have him on this team. There’s another guy would be nice, like a veteran presence, outfielder. Uh, a guy can hit, you know, great defense, good speed. Um, I don’t know if you heard of him. He’s on the Royals. His name is Mike Ystreky. That would have really helped if we had that dude. If we had that dude on this team. Uh, yeah, that that would really help. Um uh you know we we we could actually be pretty good. Who knows though really what would have happened if we didn’t tear this down. Buster Posey tore it apart. Buster Posie said, “You guys suck.” When we went down that stretch before the All-Star break, um Posie said, “You guys stink. I’m tearing it apart.” All of this falling apart like this is on you. We had a good thing. We had Randy Rocket. We had Yas. We had Doval. It all ran like clockwork. You should have just chilled out. Let the team do their thing and we’d all be fine right there. But no, you had to blow it up. You just had to be the man. I’m just messing with Buster. Uh, the season has felt worse than the last three. I’m glad I got to be there for that moment. He’ll never forget that hit off the wall. I thought for a second it was going out. And um other than that, there’s 8 million cars. I don’t know how I’m going to ever get out of here, but um that’s the player of the game. What’s on deck? I don’t even know. Tell me someone good is pitching tomorrow. Um, but some Dodgers were talking smack when I was walking out of the ballpark but you know one guy was just like, “Hey man, Giants lost.” I’m like, “Yep.” That’s all I said. Yep. Like what you going to say? F you, dude. What you gonna say? Um, did I miss a super chat from Wolf 3100 with the super chat? Did I not did I completely overlook it or did I read I might have read it and didn’t even like realize it was a super chat? Oh, is this it? Oh, I totally missed it. And um I’ll have my stadium review and it might be because I’m a Giants fan, but I never was too enamored with Dodger Stadium. It’s okay. I mean, obviously it’s a classic stadium. has been around a long time, but like you go around the concourse and you know, a lot of food options, tons of food options, and there’s a few displays. They they’ve improved on that. But yeah, I don’t I don’t I just This is kind of repetitive. You walk around the whole thing, it’s just one, you know, concourse and just a lot of places to eat, a lot of different food options, which is cool. And there’s a little team store. Not really big. Um there just not a lot of cool baseball like memorabilia to go. They they added some stuff though. They’ve added a few things so it’s getting better. But go to St. Louis and it’s like they call it baseball heaven over there. It’s it’s amazing. Thank you for that. Thank you for that. No home run yet for Bryce Eldridge. They do have Dodger dogs. I mean it’s a beautiful stadium. It’s a beautiful stadium. There there ain’t no doubt about that. It’s it’s a it’s it’s a a a great looking stadium from the outside and and and you know it’s it’s a it’s classic. It’s it’s it’s Dodger stadium. I’m just saying uh and obviously you’re kind of uncomfortable Giants fan up in there. Dodger fans everywhere. I had Dodger fans all over me. There was not as many Giants fans as I thought there’d be. There seemed like there used to be more. I was on the Giants dugout side. Like literally I could spot like one or two like like there wasn’t that many Giants fans. Um there’s a two spot here. The team is a pimple on a dress butt. Okay, I’m going to read it. You send money. I got to read it. I got to read it. Uh first hit was almost a bomb today. No doubt about it. Dodge dog. I didn’t even get any food today. So we’ll do the food review tomorrow. I did not get a food if I come tomorrow. I did not get anything to eat. I decided I was just kind of I just didn’t want to get up actually. I mean, my row I was in the middle of the row and there was people there and people there and I was just kind of in into the game and I I didn’t really want to get up. So, I didn’t I did I did get a little footage before and after the game around the ballpark, but um yeah, get something to eat tomorrow. Kyra So hates going there. What game was I at? You didn’t see. I’m here at Dodger Stadium, LA. Giants lost, but guys, we still got a shot for the playoffs, guys. Uh, playoffs. Don’t talk about playoffs. You kidding me? Playoffs. I just hope we can win a game. Another game. All right. Well, we’ll be back tomorrow for one more post game here and then it’s back home. We’re going to take on the Cardinals for three, the Rockies for three. Literally, I think the Giants can sweep the home stand and still won’t make the playoffs. I think we can win out seven straight and they won’t make it cuz they’ve fallen back. They’ve fallen back. So, cuz the thing about it is, and this is done, I mean, we’re done. We’re done. Just No, I know that. I understand. We’re done. But the reason is is because the Mets are going to win some games. And if they don’t, the Reds are going to win some games. So the the Reds aren’t going to get on go lose the rest of their games and the Mets lose the rest of their games and the Giants win the rest of their games. That ain’t happening. So it’s pretty much a wrap. Got to be careful. And they’re going to be eliminated soon. Like mathematically. Yeah, the Cards can eliminate us mathematically. All right, y’all. Tomorrow it is.
