The 1st most important thing is making a full recovery, being back 100% before I step on the floor, not compromising anything, I'm still only 27, I got a lot of basketball left. I'm not rushing it.
And, he says, he's determined to show his kids that he's working hard to get there: “What kind of a life lesson is that if I was like, 'This might be too much, I'll just call it quits'?” he says. “As a parent, you want your kids to be proud of you, I want them to look at me like, ‘He showed me what it’s like to fight through adversity. I want my kids to see that Dad didn’t give up.’”

Nice. I still don’t want to see him until the 2026-2027 season.
He did have his surgery VERY quickly after the tear. I imagine that that must help his recovery.
I’ve been kinda expecting post allstar as a reasonable return only because cam akers came back in 5 months so the idea of 9 doesn’t seem too crazy
But if Boston is bottom of the standings at that point he might as well just sit out the season
Dudes just trying to make his kids proud and people still find a way to hate on him
This guy’s gonna be ready at the all star break mark.
He’ll back post all star break after JB and DW positioned us for the playoffs
Who O’Malley? Mike O’Malley of G.U.T.S.?
He’s not coming back this year guys. Put it out of your minds.
Keep going…
Sweet story overall.
Also I think the question has come up but he says he’s going to be w the team on the bench and travel with em this year.
