that’s definitely schoeneweis. iirc he was the team’s union rep during the 2002 season, it went right up to the deadline of there being another midseason strike at the end of august, i remember he was an important enough person that he got interviewed about the process a few times. so let’s not discount that if not for scott schoeneweis, we might’ve never won the world series
