But blowing that lead is 100% on Todd BS. That defense was soft in the fourth quarter. Soft s a wwwft soft. It was like he was going with his patented bend don’t break approach where they were giving up yards but they forgot the don’t break part. The defense had been so good all game long dialing up pressure, being aggressive, getting third down stops. Going from that to essentially a prevent defense took all the wind out of the defenses.

Defense was lights out the first 3 quarters, and then he just let them come back by calling prevent and Tyrod feasted.

I don’t disagree that the defense was soft but also go look at that offense and see how stagnant we got, we can’t let off the gas on either side of the ball. Whenever the defense gets multiple stops we can’t afford to let drives go by without putting up any points at all. This is not all on Todd but the defense has to play better at the end of games.
