Let’s get right into this one, guys. We got the Chicago White Sox headed into New York to play the Yankees. This will be game one of the series. Both these teams do have Monday off. Let’s see. Man, the White Sox are coming off a series against the Padres’s at home. They lost that series two games to one. And then the Yankees were in Baltimore over this past weekend and won that series two games to one. Actually, sorry, three games to one. That was a four game series. And look, man, the Yankees have played three straight series on the road. They went into Finway, won that series, then went into Minnesota, won that series, and then went into Baltimore and won that series. So, this team’s playing some good ball right now. Um, seven and three straight up in their last 10, and now they get to return back home to New York. And I mean, when you look at the playoff standings here, or really, I should say, the AL standings, you know, the Blue Jays still hold that top spot, but the Yankees are only two games back. You know, who do who do the Blue Jays play? Who do the Blue Jays play? I know this is kind of a side tangent, but I think it’s important. Oh, the Blue Jays play the Red Sox. That could be a competitive series. So, look, man. The Yankees still have a shot to win this division. This is definitely a big series for them. I think this is a series where they know, all right, we got the White Socks. We got the White Socks. Let’s sweep the White Socks. Hopefully, the Red Sox could do some work against the Blue Jays, and this could be our division again. So, the Yankees will definitely be motiv motivated for this one, whereas the White Socks have nothing to play for. I’m sorry. The White Soxs are rolling with Shane Smith and the Yankees are rolling with Luis Hill in this game. Uh Shane Smith, I mean, he’s had a good season. He’s definitely been one of the better starters in this White Sox rotation. He is coming off a tough start where he gave up six earring against the the Orioles his last time out. And let’s be real, guys, Shane Smith has definitely struggled away from Chicago. In Chicago, he’s been good, man. 357 erra at home, but once he goes on the road, once he’s away from Chicago, his erra starts creeping up closer to that five number. So, I don’t love this spot for Shane Smith. Whereas Luis Hill 4-1 in his last five, 267 erra in his last five, and he’s been great in Yankee Stadium, a 2.11 erra at home this season. So, I think there’s there there’s been spots this season where the White Sox have been money and we we’ve cashed in on some plus money with the White Sox this season, but with what’s on the line for the Yankees, with how much this this game means to the Yankees, I think I’m going to take him on on the run line here. Um, also Luis Hill, I I think he has another stellar performance against the White Sox, who, you know, it’s the White Sox, guys. It’s the White Sox and they’re on the road. And then I do think these Yankees bats do get after Shane Smith and um this this White Sox bullpen. So, I don’t know. Probably a game I’m not really running to the window to bet. But if I had to, let’s take the Yankees who have everything to play for in this one. Um and I’m finally in the run line as well to get this thing close to even odds. So, that’s going to do it.
