I agree with pretty much your whole assessment of the Kings, they should still be a solid playoff team this year but the moves they made this offseason don’t bode well for long term sustained success. I do wonder sometimes if the Kings end up in a rebuild or retool for a few years after this one, they have some solid young players but not enough to build a contender around based on what we’ve seen the last few years. I just hope they’re not headed for a mushy middle where they aren’t good enough for cup contention, but not bad enough for a lottery pick either.
