Titans HC Brian Callahan Hands Off Play-Calling Duties to QBs Coach Bo Hardegree

  1. The college team I follow did this in the offseason after their worst season in the history of the program. New OC, new DC, and HC becomes CEO of team. Has worked wonders.

  2. “it’s a collaborative process”

“Brian does more than people think”

Couple of unimaginative bums slapping each other on the back, mistaking getting 9/1/5 dropped into their laps as being competent.

    Ugh. Wake up, Zac.

  3. I feel like hiring a head coach who was the OC of an elite QB is a crapshoot. Like Matt Nagy, Adam Gase, Brian Callahan, Brian Daboll, Josh Mcdaniels have all been disastrous.

Im sure there are plenty of exceptions but how can you really trust them to run a competent team when you downgrade from Joe Burrow to a Will Levis

  4. ZT/BC were the longest tenured HC/OC pair in the league up until BC took that offense to Ten (3-17 there btw). What more proof to people need that ZT is not fit for calling plays in the NFL?

  5. Might be a little off topic and I love Chase Brown he’s very explosive and gives 101% effort, but he’s not an every down back. Especially when we have a backup QB we need a bell cow that can take us down the field by himself. Brown is great but not great at continually plowing the ball down field and breaking tackles

  6. Titans fan here, I was always skeptical of the Brian Callahan hire since I thought Zac Taylor was a hack who should’ve been fired a long time ago (but then Joe got him to a Super Bowl and apparently that gives you a longer leash)

and now we got his discipline who’s just as bad, id not worse, with a team not as talented

  7. Callahan is trying to save his job. Taylor knows he basically earned himself a lifetime contract with the super bowl run and can do whatever he wants
