  1. They will not be in the postseason. Don’t know why anyone bothered watching lol. The run is over. This team is done. Changes need to be made.

  2. This team has no mojo and it’s amazing how they can look so lifeless in a playoff race. Playoff hopes dwindling with each loss.

  3. Good news. We still technically control our own destiny if we go 5-0 we make the playoffs.

Bad news. I don’t have confidence in this team to go 5-0

  4. 2nd inning bases loaded and no outs. And they scored on a sacrifice fly. That’s your offense folks.

  5. I think it might just be over.

Altuve has been a net negative in all facets since the ASB. Offensively Cam fell off a CLIFF as well, rookie fatigue or not. Pitching has been held together by gum and vibes all year and even that’s showing some cracks (5 or more runs given up in 4 straight games).

It’s unfortunate. I will content myself with knowing a team that broke injury history with the IL stints came damn close to making the playoffs, and just ran out of steam. 30+ IL stints (I expect Pena to be sent there soon) and still only a game back of a playoff spot is an achievement, not a reason to be upset.

Also, fuck everyone who wants to fire Espada. No one would have blamed him if this team never even sniffed the playoffs with the injuries they had. But because the team ran out of steam, everyone wants his head. Blame the fucking hitting coaches. If Espada won’t fire them, THEN I can see getting rid of them. But put the blame where it belongs.

  6. Think the spreadsheet nerds will have enough of a sample size to figure out why we can’t hit shitty pitchers??

  7. Had it on, barely watched. I’m losing interest. It isn’t just that they are bad, it’s that they are boring.

  8. Yes injuries have been terrible this year & tuve kinda has been not very good (to be nice)… but signing another abysmal first baseman free agent, trading for an outfielder who can’t hit (or field) + a decent utility player who we don’t play, and then hitting like a team full of Hellen Keller’s leaves me no choice but to be frustrated with the front office. Sigh, should’ve just gone to bed hours ago instead of wasting my time typing this lol

  9. Heartless, gutless performance tonight. If they don’t give a shit, then we shouldn’t either. Team is ready to go on vacation.
