I laughed but inside it hurt.
That 6th inning felt like the Yankees 5th last year. I was literally thinking we should bunt when we can’t hit a pitcher and they did it. Just smart baseball to get something going when they are struggling. Sucks but it was smart and then we collapse. Bases loaded and we strike out twice.

I have been noticing that as bad as they have been playing, they had not started kicking the ball around yet. Hopefully this and 19 k’s is them finally hitting bottom, and they can flush it out of their system now and win the next 5.
I’ve never seen someone in Little League try something like that. What was he doing? He had plenty of time to throw him out the conventional way.

Im a Cleveland fan but came here to say after the Fry hit in the face that he was very distraught about what happened. I highly respect all Tigers fans and players. I think Skubal should have been pulled after that as his head wasn’t in the game for all the right reasons and as we saw the wild pitch next play.
